First things first. Why did I join PoF? The answer is really simple. I work all the time. I’m the owner of my own company and therefore put in a crazy amount of hours. That, along with the fact that since all of my friends are married and no longer come out with me, I find it really difficult to meet new people. Yes, I’m that girl that goes to bars by herself. I look for guys who are family oriented, hard working, and have their own set of personal goals. I really look for independence. I hate when guys try to change themselves to fit what they think I will like. But, I stay fit by doing other things like walking, bike riding, and swimming. Work alone keeps me in shape. I love to read but never have time to do it. Especially if it’s with someone I have never met before. I can usually tell pretty quickly if I feel we are a match, so there is really no need to prolong something if it’s not going to work. A few drinks at a bar is ideal. Now the second date is where things get fun! I really love doing things that are different. Once I played laser tag with someone, another time we went to an aquarium. I think you learn the most about someone when you take them out of their element or comfort zone. Basically, anything unique.
