Dammit, now I don't remember what it was...Okay then. Before this re-write I had this huge essay and I thought how it could possibly be sending the wrong message because no matter how much I wrote it was more a reflection of my mood and it still didn't give an accurate description of who I really am and may mislead someone because that's all they saw. Still, a few words can't possibly sum up me and all my layers... yeah, I'm not going "the onion" route but the layers seemed apropos- lolHi! I'm a very honest guy and I will always do what I say when I say I will. I'm chivalrous, romantic, affectionate and thoughtful. I'm a huge believer in karma and always act accordingly. I'm a fairly neat person and don't mind cleaning at all- not interested in becoming someones maid.Speaking of being someones maid, I have an almost 16 year old daughter who is the absolute love of my life, always will be and not downgrading your importance but she will always be #1 in my life and I love being wrapped, even barely, around her finger.I love to cook and I love to cook for or with a woman. It's been rumored that I cook pretty damn well but my dishes tend to lean towards the "OMG that's alot of calories!" direction- lol. I think it would be cool to create some new dishes together from combining ideas from our own cookbooks. That's part of the "give and take" of a relationshipI love doing road trips, sightseeing, lakes, rivers, beaches,the woods, mountains, bike rides and everything between. LOVE the sun but making out in the warm spring rain has it's merits too. I also like to just chill sometimes and watch a good movie on the home theater.I really love to work with my hands- I have been since I was 11 and I'm really good at it and I can fix almost anything. I don't mean "I can probably do/fix that" like a handyman- I'm highly trained and do high quality work.There's nothing Ive attempted that didn't come out well and it sometimes amazed even myself. In that regard I'm a perfectionist.I like all kinds of food although I'm attempting to eat healthier. Who knew my home-made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies weren't healthy?!? I love live music from concerts to smaller, intimate club venues and I love to dance but haven't gone for quite awhile. For the past year or so I've been trying to improve my pool game to what it once was and aside from that I like alot of sports but I rarely watch any on TV. For the past 3 years I haven't even subscribed to any cable provider because TV, to me, has little to offer in the way of true entertainment but I do get embarrassed when some global crisis occurs and I have no idea it happened- maybe that's the "; they were talking about- lolI detest people that create or feel the need to create or be involved in drama and I hate confrontation of any kind because seriously- I see no reason to live that way and won't. Two people that care for each other should have the others back not stab it. I'm not perfect but I will always try my best to be supportive and attentive in every situation. Drama just drains me and is both mentally and physically corrosive. I think that proves the theory that drama kings/queens suck the life out of you- lolI suppose I should mention that I'm kinda a clown. I don't wear a honking nose and 30" shoes but I love to laugh and strive to keep everyone I come into contact with smiling, if not totally cracking up. I can find humor in almost anything so I hope you're not the dead serious type. Seriously...Wanna know what I think? I think that starting a relationship and all that should be one of the easiest things on earth to do. Staying in one takes compromise, integrity, honesty, and constant communication. That may include swallowing pride sometimes, admitting we're wrong and the like. I have no problem doing this and am completely willing to do so to achieve our goals and I hope to find a woman like that too. Only then can WE become the single entity which becomes stronger than either of us could have been by separately and the world becomes our oyster.Well there's my basic outline. I hope that's enough to get you interested yet leave you wanting to know more...Yes, this is the profile version of Chinese food- want another bite?...oops, another long profile- dammit! Most important thing to me; Waking up then breathing...everything afterward is great. Seriously, no that was serious, but I do like to try new things but I'm also alright just hanging. I'm scarred of heights though I’ve jumped out of a perfectly good airplane and loved zip lining. I know not rational. Few other things I like: Running and biking, though hard to do both at the same time, just saying. All types of music, particularly new rock and alternative like Shine Down, Sick Puppies, Seether, Nickel Back. Also like going to concerts at the Stir, Jazz On The Green, and Rock Fest. I'm a huge movie fan and will even do the "chick flick" just don't tell my buddies I'll lose my guy card but I've got sort of a soft spot for happy endings though. I like the theater too and have season tickets. I grew up going theater and it stuck. I like to watch a good TV show and I record most of what I watch. It’s just quicker to watch the shows that way. I love Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. I know both are very wrong. Finally I read a lot. Looks like N.C. this year. Great water and zip lining. I also like playing sports though I'm not 25 anymore so I try to be less competitive and just to enjoy. I still play to win.I'm not in to exchanging e-mails for a week before asking you out. If I like what I read and see I’ll probably just ask you out. I’m hoping to meet someone and find a relationship. I don’t believe you really can do that via e-mail or over the phone and I hate talking on the phone. Really worse case is; you meet someone and you either get a “funny story” or fall in love. What’s the risk? Might not look like my picture? Meet up, share a conversation, beverage and hopefully a stroll around the area. It's always easier to talk and walk. Then again I've jumped out of an airplane so I'm pretty sure I'll do almost anything and what a great way to get to know someone.
