I am whole on my own -- That being said.. What I desire is someone to spend some time with.. I long to cuddle under a warm blanket on a cool night. I wish to cook something special for her, just because I can. I yearn to watch her fall asleep in my arms, and then softly kiss her while she is sleeping. I have made her my world, and (hopefully) treat she like the queen she is. She accepts me as I am, and does not try to change me to suit her personal comfort level. Adventures are a great part of life, and I relish in the thought that she would come with me and explore the unexplored whilst having the time of her life. Sound nice? I think so too!! HahaAs long as we are having fun and laughing, I would say it's a success!

I think starting as friends is a good place.. and if it leads to more, than so be it. And if it doesn't... Well then we both have a friend that we can count on.... I do have a sense of humor..Something you have to have when you are single. I do like to joke, laugh, and smile.. It lessens the stress of life, and it just passes that slow time in the day better...:) Truly is good for the soul.... I am just me...I am not Barbie..( I'm working on it) I will not bend and break. Short, and fit enough to be able to still keep up with the best... ;) I have a couple of tattoos and some well spent years.. But, still having many great years to come. I try to treat people, the way I want to be treated, honestly and respectfully. (it is a priority with me) I do not like drama..or any other chaos in my life. And, I am honest to the core. I have been on my own for 8 years (widowed) I have raised 2 terrific daughters, 29 and 25. They have both grown to be terrific women, who are living their own dreams. Their wish for me is to be happy... :) (and I am ) Complete? ( may be another story...) I have 2 very spoiled Golden Retrievers and 2 crazy cats... They are my confidants... You won't hear them telling any of my secrets. lol Nor would they hurt anyone. I love the simple things in life.. yes... the outdoors and the in ...Traveling, I love to drive to places on a whim...Antiques, If it ain't broken, rusty, or beat up..It doesn't come in the house...lol..Hey...I just described what I feel like when my feet hit the floor in the morning...LOL.. gardening, taking care of, and remodeling my home, cuddling, a good time out with friends or a lazy night by the fire with a good beer or wine... Oh.. and of course, my job,(I work for a great company) and a good meal. Arts and the talents of people... Sports, swimming and floating in the pool on a lazy Sunday afternoon... Watching an eagle fly takes my breath away... Or seeing a batch of turkeys walk up the road. Takin walks with my dogs in the woods. Feeling the air against my skin, the warmth of the sun on my face and the cool breeze of a blustery winter day.. The smells of fresh linens, a carnival, the softness of a newly dried towel, the feeling of having arms encircle me and pull me in for that long warm hug.....Mmmmm..smell of breakfast cooking... simplicity... There are so many other things that I truly love, and want to do.. But as we all have in common... Most of those things are so much more fun when there is someone else along to laugh at or hold on to while while doing them.. Hmmm.. As we grow , we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You WILL have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Never change yourself for someone, add to yourself with them. And never regret anything that makes you smile. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
