I am a very optimistic person and believe that most things in life happen for a reason. In all experiences in life presents the opportunity to learn and grow to be the best person you can be. I have come to admire Einstein's quote regarding the idea of insanity of repeating the same behaviors over and over and expecting a different result..If someone is showing you who they are, then believe them. To me, it is useless to keep going down the same path with the same kinds of people resulting back at square one hence repeating the same behaviors over and over. I do a lot of reflecting of my life and have learned so much about myself up to this point.. I truly know what I expect from myself as well as what I expect from someone that wants to be a part of my life.I do love going out and meeting new people, hanging out with close friends and spending time with my family. This does not mean that I object to quiet evenings in with a good book and glass of wine.. I can be a total dork and find enjoyment in the smallest things so it can be said it does not take much to make me happy :) I find that "ME" time is important to me..I am an independent person and would love to meet someone that will add to my life. With that being said, I am single because I choose to be, until I meet that special person with whom I can really connect with. I can be a real goofball and don't believe that anyone should take themselves too seriously...life is way too short! I love laughing and love to make people laugh. Let's just say that I have fun-loving friends and don't get along much with people that are over-intellectual, judgmental and too serious. Good times with people you love means much more to me than what money can buy..memories are priceless!Since I know what I want and what I don't want, I can be a little picky in relationships and do not want to settle otherwise the whole idea of dating is pointless. Hey you...reading my profile :) Yes, my profile that I copied from Match. I know it's cheating but I did actually write it at one point! Friends describe me as loyal, passionate and caring. I also often hear that I have my act together, haha. I love to laugh and try new things, otherwise I get bored. You can dress me up or down and I'm comfortable in almost any setting. Sporting events, dive bars, cooking a meal together at home, I'm game for all of it. Time together for me is more about sharing an experience with the person I'm with than the activity itself. As I'm getting older I'm missing the country more and more and eventually intend to move somewhere more rural than here; but hopefully a place where the city isn't too far away. And then maybe doing a lil wine tasting after ;) I grew up taking dance as a girl and have missed it the past few years so I recently took a session of ballet classes to get back into it.I'm pretty open-minded and am always interested in hearing what you have to say, even if we disagree.
