I consider myself an easy-going person and try to keep life as drama-free as possible. I’m very outgoing and love to spend time with friends and good company, and manage to have good time wherever I may be.I believe sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on. But while I’m easily hooked by witty sarcasm, cynical sarcasm is really a huge downer (defeatists may be excused).I can be a workaholic at times, but outside of work I rarely take myself seriously and find any opportunity to laugh. I have a great sense of humor, and I’m a sap for someone who makes me laugh ;-)My philosophy in life is work hard, play harder, and make every moment a highlight (life is just too damn short not to), and wouldn’t mind meeting someone with a similar outlook. There's no shortage of things I'm in to, boredom is kind of a foreign concept to me. Big sports fan (especially contact, especially football), I manage a FFB league (and no, not an all-girl league :p), love boating and fishing, enjoy traveling, cooking, baking, work out regularly, love music, dancing, play the ukulele, like to roll up my sleeves and take on DIY projects (I buy power tools like most girls buy shoes), and the list goes on …I love doing new things and going to new places. However, I sometimes think there's nothing more exciting or entertaining than spending time with someone who can really make me laugh, whose company allows me to forget where I am and what I'm doing ... How about you? Anywhere we can go to get to know each another, maybe have a drink, catch a game, share a laugh ;)

I think these about me sections are stupid, and no one really reads them anyway. Don't be offended if you send me a message and I don't respond, but, if I do respond, maybe you'll be lucky enough to see how awesome I am ;)

I work in the film and tv industry, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Essentially I just organize things but it's good depending on who you're working with. It's primarily contract based so I'll switch jobs often or like the time being be sans job which is nice every now and again. I've never lead this unemployed life before though so I'm still figuring out exactly what to do with my time. I've always had a little resentment to those lucky young people out at a cafe at 1pm and now I'm amongst their ranks, BEST. Also if you feel like meeting up at a cafe at 1pm on a workday I'm in. I've found myself doing a lot of crafting as a result which is a lot of fun at the very least and it's been a big hit for a few birthday gifts. That's right, I make things from nothing, I'm pretty much magic. I've always only ever been in relationships with people I've met in real life so this is my first real sware into trying to date via online dating. It's been interesting. Yea. Interesting. I really love camping though it's been way too long since I've been portaging. I'm finally really learning more about food and how to cook and really enjoying it. Every once in a while i'll watch a vegetarian propaganda film and almost switch back (I was a vege for 5 years). But I haven't gone all the way back....yet. Basically I'd rather talk to you in real life then on the computer. I don't want to have a long engaging e-mail connection I want to talk to a real person. So if we've written a few messages back and forth how about we just meat up ***? cool. I think it's nice to start on no one's home turf. Pick a spot at random in-between each others houses and commit to nowhere to go for better or worse (though that sounds awkward for a first date when I put it that way!). I think the best way to get get to know each other is to discover something together besides each other whether it be walking down a street you've never seen or trying a food you've never had, ect. That way you get to see how you react to new situations together.Movies are the worst for first dates so not that. Coffee/Tea/Bar are always win for a first meeting in my books.
