Ok, here we go. I am a single mother of a beautiful 6 year old little girl, so recently most of my free time is spent at t-ball, gymnastics, or watching Spongebob. And while I find all of these activities very entertaining, I feel like it's time to find my adult voice again (I know it's still in there somewhere!) and engage in some activities that do not involve animated characters. I would like to meet someone who has their life together, but doesn't take life too seriously. If there is one thing that I do not have the time or patience for, it's drama. So if you're the type of person that thrives on it, I'd kill you within a week, so we probably wouldn't such be a great match! Life is way too short. I'm not looking for a fling or someone who just wants to date around. I'm looking for someone that is interested in a long term relationship, and who loves being around kids.As far as my personality, I tend to be a bit sarcastic. (And by sarcastic, I mean I'm kind of a smart-ass.) I am a big kid at heart and never want to change that. I'm extremely silly, goofy, affectionate, and playful, and would want the person I'm with to be the same. When the weather is nice, I enjoy doing anything outside. I love football, so Sunday's during the season you can always find me in front of the TV, or at least a couple times a year at a game. I am a horrible cook, but I love to entertain. I look for any reason to have a party! National Popcorn Day? Heck yeah. National Dress Up Your Dog Day? Sure, why not! It's a Wednesday? Absolutely. My favorite place in the world is at the end of a pier on the river at sunset. There is no place more peaceful for me.I am a huge music fan. My taste varies way too much to pick on genre, but some of my favorites are The Beatles, DMB, Fun.; Sons, blah, blah, blah. I could go on forever!Maybe you can tell from the pics, but I'm trying to grow my hair out from a very short cut! So, what do you think.....long or short?

My schedule is busy, but not to busy to make time for someone special. I enjoy NASCAR and am I Cubs fan. I love going to see any sporting event in person - well unless it is the Bears in January :) I am a country music lover. I also listen to and enjoy many other types of music except hard core rap and Opera. I grew up in the 80s, who doesn't love the hairbands? I love going to concerts or seeing live bands in smaller places. Summer festivals are great for people watching and discovering new local bands.Love to be outside in warmer weather and tend to stay indoors in the colder months....unless of course I can keep warm while I am out. A nice dinner with great conversation is good. A movie in a theater now and then is great. Also just like to hang out at home and have a home cooked meal, watch a DVD or Netflix, play a game, etc. A good comedian is always a treat to watch/see. I love to laugh and smile. The endorphins released in your body when you laugh are good for you!! Always willing to try new things - ok maybe not jumping out of a plane! I am also a very affectionate person. A long gaze from across the room reminds you that I only have eyes for you. I do not mind public displays of affection with the person in my life. I am a hugger, a hand holder, a kisser, and someone who makes frequent eye contact (I have made people uncomfortable with it before - didn't mean to, just the way I am). Hopefully you are the same way. Looking to meet some new and interesting people. I don't want to give a long "grocery" list of what I'm looking for because it just doesn't seem fair to me. Everyone has their own special "something". Obviously we have to have an attraction to each other and something in common to talk about, but I really am an easy going person.
