Easy going female looking to meet someone to have an adventure with! I love to travel, but then who doesn't! I am an avid sports fan and enjoy watching them at sport's bars as well as my tiki hut. I am an independent, educated, self-sufficient female. I am not looking for someone to take care of me financially. I am looking for someone to connect with emotionally and spiritually.

ABOUT ME:I would describe myself as the comic who plays the role of the serious professional to hold down a job. Actually, I'm not always the SERIOUS professional, but I manage to run a relatively successful client base while being myself and have fun doing it. I'm definitely not the mall and manicure type of girl (although I like both once in a while). I can find humor almost anywhere (sometimes where I shouldn't and very often sarcastic (with love***so those who can't laugh at themselves need not apply). I've been told I have a quick wit but I'll let you be the judge of that.I try to stay in shape: hit the gym 3 or 4 times a week.I am very independent and self sufficient..a straight shooter......not looking to be rescued. That said, it would be great to have a shoulder to lean on after a hard day and to be that shoulder for someone else. I love to travel. I haven't had the opportunity to do much lately but my goal is to go absolutely everywhere. I particularly like off-the-beaten track places..family run hotels, etcFavorite movie: Sense and Sensibility.- chick flick but it is also wonderfully edited and Jane Austen's dialogue is wonderful).I started my college career as a classical voice major and music is still very imortant to me. My kids think I know the words to every song ever written (I also remember the lyrics to most songs from Bugs Bunny cartoons and old commercials, but I digress...). I love everything from Pavarotti to the Beastie Boys to Hot Hot Heat. I love to dance and keep threatening to take latin dance lessons but I've yet to do it.One of my favorite things to do is to wander around antique or salvage shops. I love old things: from fine antiques to funky stuff. I'm working on renovating my 3rd victorian house so when I put down my sander and goggles, I'm always looking for the next design idea or the rare item I can't live without. My favorite author is Dr. Seuss....really....ABOUT YOU:You are confident, speak your mind, and respect and enjoy differences of opinion. You're slow to anger and when you occasionally get there, you don't waste energy hanging on to it. You accept and respect differences in others. You are a hard worker but know how to kick back. You have a wicked sense of humor and can be downright silly if the mood strikes. You enjoy all kinds of music, travel, and elegant affairs but are just as comfortable with barefoot bbq's and trashy weddings. You are physically active, stay in good shape and have a relatively healthy lifestyle (except for that occasional bag of chips you just have to have (substitute your favorite indulgence). You respect the independent woman but know that, no matter how strong we are, we all love the simple, romantic reminders that we are loved and appreciated.Although it is unlikely that I would be described as shy, I will most likely not initiate conversation, so if you are interested, please send me a note that says more than "Hi" or "How are you today?" BYOB restaurants are great for first dates. Usually the food and the wine is better ... and the setting lends itself to conversation and getting to know each other. I've always thought hiking might be a great first date - somehow I think walking would calm the first date nerves. It also offers a quick getaway if things aren't going so well...

If you fish in my waters, you should know that it is useless to contact me if:-you write "Hi, wanta chat?" or "Hi, how are you?"-you don't have a recent picture of yourself on your profile-you are married or lie about your age-you have tatoos all over-your idea of travelling limits itself exclusively to go south in an all inclusive-silence drives you nuts-you listen to commercial radio in your car-you can't conjugate properly-the size of your flat screen tv is bigger than your bookshelves-you have ADD or other forms of attentional-related difficulties-you have a personality disorder-you have no insight-women who think and feel intimidate you-you have poor listening skills-contempt is one of your flaws-you hope to find the next Ironwoman for your adventures--so far, you are more freaked out than amused by this list of mine and are about to send me hate mailMen, I know the pool in which I swim is small; this is why I start my little message this way. I don't find it exciting to swim in an ocean and be approached by species that are too far from my tastes. (Twentysome messages in less than 24 hours is kind of scary.)I'll be back eventually to talk about me. Now, enough about you! :)
