My boys are almost grown...well if there is such a thing! 3 boys 24, 20 & 19...the two youngest both graduated this past year...thank you God...I am done with school! lol Some parents talk about how sad they are that their kids have all graduated...ha...not me! I've had my kids ***since my divorce 14 years ago and trust me I love my kids with all my heart and would lay down my life for them but...it's Momma time! Something I've learned...yes lessons can be learned...usually the hard way but learned all the same...the *** and forth is so 15 years ago...make contact...set a time to meet and do it...what have you got to lose...really! Then if you hit it off spend some time getting to know someone...this I have to get to know you before we meet...lol ah naw...trust me...commit to meeting...within 10 minutes of your time your gonna know if this person is even worth getting to know! Just do it! (Yep stole it from Nike!) lol Love a man with a personality and a great smile...but a great sense of humor mixed with a lil sarcasm...have mercy...watch out cuz I might just fall in luv with ya! Lol I'm a very strong willed woman...if I hadn't been i would have never made it through 14 years of being a single parent and dealing with a dead beat...baby daddy! I speak my mind but I will do it with a smile...I've been told I'm pretty and that I'm sexy...I like that but I'm also smart! The blonde comes from a box darlin...it's not natural! I love all kinds of music, except the hard core stuff...love to dance and yes I will admit I sing in the shower and dance in front of the mirror! Just a little hint guys...Men have taught me alot of things in my life...how to throw a football, shoot a gun, change a tire...but the one thing that most of the men in my life have taught, without even realizing they were doing it...is how to spot a Bullshitter a mile away...so if you are one you better be damn good...just sayin! I want to get to know you but not in one night darlin...there is such a thing as talking to much...trust me! A few things I enjoy... I have been at my job for 27 years with no plans of leaving and this is one of the reasons I consider myself to be a responsible and stable person. How can you sum up yourself in one paragraph? I' been told I'm a technicolor painting in a charcoal drawing world. I am multi-faceted. Right brain / left brain. Just as comfortable having intense deep conversations in which you completely lose track of time and space in a café, or hiking in the woods (which I try to do as much as possible) or kayaking in the ocean. I prefer the company of like minded people interested in music, art, photography, culture, philosophy, science, world issues, politics, creative, intelligent & intellectual, deep conversationalists-- and who take care of themselves physically. A big plus if you love nature and being physical in the outdoors.) While loving the outdoors later in the afternoons, I'm also a great lover of the indoor leisure arts -- like reading, conversing, writing, cooking, meditating, and lollygagging in bed on a rainy day! I've also been known to partake in the lost art of puttering. ;- You know what they say...when you make of list of what you're looking for in another person, it's good to possess those traits in yourself. No smokers or heavy drinkers, please. A Good sense of humor is a must! Laughter can get you through ALOT in life. :-) So can charm and a nice smile ;-) In LA I worked in the music biz for 25 years so I'm have a very LA / NY mentality. I'm well traveled internationally and speak Spanish and French, and have dual citizenship (US and French.)As for music, I never met a note I didn't like. And of course, there is the beauty of the sound of silence. There's definitely something to be said for the unique blissful sound of silence.
