I enjoy sports and outdoor activities (hikes, long walks - especially when traveling). I had to give up karate after 12 years when my studio folded, and am trying to get back into a routine with yoga and going to the gym. I have the heart and eyes of an Artist. I enjoy the Arts in any form and enjoy seeing new sites and natural beauty. I will be graduating college in May and I am unsure at the moment what path I will take, I love to paint and create in between my two youngest grandchildren that keep me busy and have my heart. My children are grown and on their own. My goal was to have my art out in the public eye and in the last year I have done that, I have an outdoor mural in the county seat, 3 paintings in the art museum right now, a painting in the community health center. I am open minded but stand by my own beliefs and morals. I do believe we are all souls with our own journeys to follow. Honest to a fault, I believe in freedom of speech and personal space. I would like to find someone to start a friendship with and see where it may go from there. Looking for a long term relationship but believe that it takes time to determine if two people are compatible for a relationship. I enjoy humor and lightheartedness, I would like to meet someone with a sense of humor who is following their passion, who is open and honest and believes in intelligent and open communication. The first thing is I would not call it a "first date", that sounds stressful, I would call it meeting a new person, possible friend, that sounds like an adventure. I love to do and try a lot of things. My hobbies are widespread and ever growing as I learn about new ways to enjoy life. Favorites are cooking, fishing, golf, reading and taking classes. So I find this is a nice first date. It is nice to get to know someone first and see where you would like to go with it. Lunch is casual. If you want to have some fun and play golf or go to a movie that is nice.
