I'm a fun, thoughtful, hardworking, confident, and independant woman. I'm impressed by strength, kindness, and wit. How I describe myself might vary from what others would say (I can provide references upon request - I believe I have a sort of shy confidence. I've been described as "the girl next door" (I'm still trying to figure out what exactly that means)It reallly isn't complicated. I would like to meet someone because we both initially saw something that made us smile and become curious. Then spend time learning more about each other, experiencing new things and sharing what we already know we love. My life is fairly drama-free and I'd really like to keep it that way. But, I'm a great listener and usually the one my friends come to when drama does impact their lives. I'm open to excitement and spontaneity. Some of my best memories have been the result of last minute plans and events I really wasn't looking forward to attending. Exercise is a huge part of my life and keeps me balanced and happy. My workout of choice is indoor biking. I've been at it for more than 10 years. I was in one of the first classes offered in this area and have been hooked ever since. Short and sweet! (... first meeting for a cup of coffee or glass of wine to see if there's further interest). The dates that follow are what I look forward to ...

A little less hectic here and more traquil and many places to hike/walk which I like to do. I was born and raised in the Falls so it's like coming full circle but so much has changed.I have recently started Tai Chi classes which I am absolutely hopeless at. No poise or grace in me at all. The *** me that everyone feels this way but I am still a bit skeptical as I find somedays I don't know my left from my right - LOL!I am mad about white chocolate, ice cream, greek yogart and just about anything you can eat with a spoon. I love to bake and often make 'goodies' for family and friends - just for the sake of my 'sweet tooth'. It makes me feel less guilty - a bit Machiavellian!I like listening to Blues and Jazz - especially live bands. Outdoor venues on a patio on a warm summer's night/frosty drink - well can't get much better than that - to me that is perfection - not too high maintainance...? Now throw in a tropical sunset and resort.....I love to travel and have been to many places and have many more that I'd like to see. I could spend all day around the pool or sitting on the beach if the conditions were right but that's not necessarily what I want to do my whole vacation - I like to explore, see the sites, go off the beaten track and of course shop! It would be nice to have someone like-minded to share in these new adventures with.I am looking for that 'Good Guy' - a friend first - which could possibly develop into something more - let's face it - that's why we are here. Someone with a sense of humour, who is polite to others not just myself and who has it together for lack of a better word. Someone open-minded who is ready for a change in their life - like I am. Please do not be offended but I will not reply if you have no photo - we all want to put a face to the words. So I will ask again 'where did all the good guys go'? First dates are tricky and can be uncomfortable. I think I would rather meet up for coffee or better yet a DQ Blizzard - everyone loves ice cream!!! Takes the pressure off - no grand gestures, no dressing up - leave all that for the second date if it all works out! Yes I do like to dress up for dinner once in awhile - have to use some of those shoes I have in the closet.
