I honestly don't believe that a guy should go overboard on the first meeting, but if you move to a date... Then you need to show more about yourself and who you are, taking into consideration what you know so far about the woman your interested in. I don't like to call the shots. ***UPDATE*** I'm not sure what's going on, but the past 5 men I've met on this site have lived with one or both of their parents. I'm not interested in a relationship with anyone who states on their profile that women need to be financially independent, yet THEY are living with mommy and daddy. How does one go about forming a long term relationship with someone while their parents are in the next room anyway? What are you, 16?? Sorry for the rant, but it's just getting old.
