Hey! Thanks for stopping by!Well, I am on this site to try something new and stem out from my normal social scene. (not that it's bad by any means...I just want to meet some people with different interests). I would consider myself a constantly evolving and optimistic person. By day, I'm a nerdy scientist. I wear a lab coat and safety glasses, and spend my days mixing solutions and prepping samples. I work as an Analyst in a toxicology laboratory, and I absolutely love it. I guess I'm a bit of a science geek, and I love being surrounded by my ridiculous coworkers. (I swear they could base a show around the things that are said behind closed doors) I also love the fact that I learn something new every day, and that I have access to some incredibly brilliant people in my field. That being said, I would actually prefer a partner who works in a completely different field. You can only talk about beakers and pipets for so long....By night, I'm a laid back type of girl. I love to laugh and get to know people. I love cooking, going to movies and having coffee with friends. I'm more comfortable talking one on one, and I prefer an intimate atmosphere rather than a nightclub. I'm an art lover, and I support the art community any way I can. I'm also really into running and cycling, and I do a lot of races throughout the year. I'm constantly working on myself physically, and I take my health very seriously. I'll never be a tiny stick of a woman....so if that's what you want....don't waste your time--or mine for that matter. I'm a healthy "curvy" body type, and I like how I look. I don't really have a body type that I look for in a man, but I do have a thing for dark hair and blue eyes.So, what am I looking for? Well, I have had a lot of good and bad experiences dating over the years. Luckily, the good has outweighed the bad, and I'm open to a new relationship. I've been single for a while now, and I'm very ready to bring someone new into my life. I am looking for someone who lives a healthy lifestyle and likes to do more than play video games. Hmmm... where to start... I am a fun and honest person and I dont like bullshit. If you dont know what you want in life (or out of a relationship,) don't even bother reading this. Anyways, about me... I love animals...I have a dog and cat who are like my kids. I worked with animals for years and now I am a registered nurse. I smile a lot. Being miserable and negative is a waste of time... I am mostly Dutch and German. Im down for doing pretty much anything whether it be going bar hopping, having some drinks and singing some terrible karaoke (I have a punk and new wave karaoke set-up at home haha), dancing to 80's, seeing a band play, hanging out with friends. Love going to amusement parks, museums, the beach, taking my dog for a hike in the woods...I could spend the night at home watching movies or go out til 4am (as long as I dont have work the next day lol) but I do find myself calming down over the years...must be those damn responsiblities!!! Every few months I try to take a trip somewhere far, far away. I like tattoos; I have a few. You can see me as "; in a pinup zombie mermaid calendar lol. I try to make the best of every thing and am not opposed to trying anything new. Going to a dive bar and having some drinks. Chatting it up!
