I'm your average girl. I like to shop, listen to music, go to the movies, anything fun. On my days off from work I like to get out even if it's just for a walk, although I love staying in and cooking dinner and watching a good movie. I love going into NYC and seeing plays or just spending the day walking around. I read a lot, it's my way of de-stressing sometimes, it feels good to loose yourself in another world. I hope someday to get into the world of publishing either working in a publishing house or as a published writer. I love to write, it's something I think I'm good at and I've been doing since I could put together a sentence and write it down lol. My taste in music varies, I listen to a little bit of everything although you'll mostly find different genres of rock on my iPod. I don't watch much TV but I do have a slight guilty pleasure in reality shows, sometimes I find them so bad they're funny. I'll watch almost any movie and a good comedy show is always welcome. For a first date it would probably be one of two things. If the guy was up for it, I would love to go into NYC and walk around, maybe take in a play. I'd also be more than happy to have a quiet dinner just to get to know the person a bit better.

Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. Anything fun and spontaneous.
