Ok here is a question...are real men out there, or are they few and far in-between? Seriously, is it to much to ask for, to find a attractive, confident , mature, sexy, guy that knows what he wants . I know what Im looking for and what I want for myself out of a man.. I have worked very hard for what I have achieved, and have never had things handed to me so I am very thankful for what I have. I refuse to settle,! Settling gets you no where..... My question to you before you contact me is do you know what you are looking for and want in a women??? I am hardworking, outgoing, independent, somewhat reserved single mom. I enjoy being an active part in my sons from just hanging out with him to going to soccer games, school events etc. My son is 14 and I can say that Im not looking to start over, Im at a stage in life where I like my life its simple have more time to do what ever and travel if I want to. I have a great job its demanding at times and work long hours but wouldnt change a thing about it. I am in the construction field if you are wondering (HWY bridge inspector for a great company). I also enjoy watching my nephew participate in Motorcross races. I am looking to find someone to spend time and enjoy life with. Family and friends are important to me, I dont know what I would have done without them. Ultimately I am seeking a physical and emotional connection with someone hard working, honest, sincere, outgoing, fun

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that this thing they call "DATING" is for sans kids singles or non-custodial parents. Well, I guess it depends on your situation and whether or not you separate your adult life from your child's life. I am one of those mommies who is not wanting to be in that "This is your uncle this week!" category. If you happen to be a single dad who doesn't welcome your children into the revolving door of your love life then CONGRATULATIONS for putting your kids first and being the rare exception to the rule. Nothing wrong with introducing your kids to a significant other when the time is right or the situation is appropriate. But "Hey kids, this is Bambi and she is spending the weekend with us" just seems a bit tacky to me. But there are a few overnight visitations with either grandma or dad. And mommy does get a bit of me time now that she is in preschool for 4 afternoons a week. So I guess I could start scheduling lunch dates or mid-afternoon coffee house dates M-Th say sometime between 12:***pm. I am trying to get used to having this me time, but find that 3 hours goes by in a ***, that is my big disclaimer as it seems nearly impossible for me to be available to date at the drop of a hat. It takes some planning in advance to make sure it jibes with the visitation schedule or I can find a sitter. But for right now I think it is better to put myself in that boring, just looking for friends for now category. I am just being honest and not going to blow any smoke up anyone's butt. I am really pretty set in my ways and know what I like and don't like. I like going out to try new hobbies, experiencing new cuisine or checking out a band I've never heard before. I don't mind the bar scene now and again to do karaoke or listen to live music. I would even like to do one of those trivia nights. But I rarely drink these days due to finding I get a tad more tipsy than I would like. I like walks in the park, bowling, going to the movies, shooting pool and visiting art museums. Aside from playing in the park with my kid, dancing, the occasional aquacize class and tennis just for fun I rarely get my heart rate elevated for optimal fitness. Just not much of an exercise enthusiast, but know I should force myself to do more physical activity. I am a couch potato most evenings, and should just say In a Relationship with HBO as my *** Yes, I admit I am a bit of social media whore. But wean off what I call the facecrastination. So if all that brutal honesty hasn't bored the crap out of you, then please do hit me up for the initial e-mail conversation and "Let's Do Coffee" sorta deal. Late morning or early afternoon to meet up at a cafe or pub. Then we can do something fun and even active like a stroll thru a park or perhaps bowling. Tennis? I can't play very well, but like just the back and forth over the net. I love going to the movies, but that isn't the best for a first date as you can't really talk. Art museum would be a great first date as well.

I am Easy going, funny, lighthearted and love to laugh. I like to relax at home as well as socialize and have fun with friends and family. My 2 kids who make me laugh and enjoy life everyday!!I am very easy to talk to and a good listener. I am the one who comes up with any topic to talk about if there is a silent period when first meeting someone (you know those awkward periods of silence....I'll be like, so....did you see any good movies lately or this place is really nice, or let's do a shot of Tequilla...LOL). I am looking for a partner in crime, my best friend. I believe that their needs to be great Chemistry both personally and physically. I would say that I laugh easily, take things in stride and have learned not to sweat the small things in life. I would like to meet someone who finds excitement in the little things in life and who is not afraid to express themselves. A person I admire for his humor, genuineness, accomplishments, and positive attitude. Thanks for reading my profile and if you think it's a fit, I'd love to hear from you!For Fun:Going out with friends to a local spot and chill outside when the weather is nice. I love to dance (I do have Just Dance for the Wii and force my kids to play with me lol). Going to the beach with my boogie board, a football and a book, going for a walk or roller blade around the Art Museum Last read:I read The Hunger Games trilogy (at the same time as my 13 year old lol), 50 Shades of Gray trilogy (very steamy/hot novel), I like to browse through People Magazine when I’m at the nail salon, and news highlights on the web.
