Lay in front of a fireplace with a nice bottle of wine and just feel the warmth of knowing that the person you're with is someone who will love you no matter what, no judgment, no conditions. Lay together at night and listen to the wind blowing and the thunder and lightning hit the windows and feeling like there's no place in the world you would rather be that wrapped around the person you love and that you know loves you and nothing or no one can hurt you as long as you have each other. I want to take trips to places we've never been and experience those things for the first time and create memories that will last for the rest of our livesMy best friend is what I want...... something spontaneous...

I find myself with more time to myself, since my children are grown. I like a variety of things...from sporting events, music (variety of kinds), dancing, bowling, billiards, occasional orchestra, comedy club and open to even more. It' s not about what you do...as much as whom you are with. I have fun at about anything and hope I make it fun for the people I'm with. I'm blessed to have many friends. I am from a small town originally. I am seeking a new career. I went back to college as an adult to prove that "you are never too old to learn"....and to get a new career. First dates are always a lasting impression, but usually nerve racking for both people! I found the comedy club can be a lot of fun for first dates...you can relax and laugh (who doesn't like to laugh?!)

I am not that athletic but I do enjoy canoeing and camping. I would still love to be able to go canoe camping but it is nicer to share this adventure with someone, or better still a group of friends. Consequently I have had to resort to stationary camping or RVing. I love to go on spontaneous weekends when the weather suggests that it would be crazy not to. I also like to choose destinations based on the weather. I like to walk or go to the gym but I am not very consistent. I love to travel and would like to be a snowbird. I am a fair weather intermediate downhill skier. I love to watch nature shows, crime dramas, The Voice, American Idol, and The Big Bang Theory. I am not a traditional women who loves to cook and keep house but I can put a meal together.My degree was in accounting and economics. I worked in the family business. When it was time to start a family I chose to be a stay at home mom. It seemed to be the right thing to do as we adopted a natural sibling group of 3. The two oldest are all grown up now and off to post secondary education. I like most forms of music, from classical, pop, rock, disco, country but not heavy metal. I love to discuss current events, especially social issues and politics.
