I believe that if you can't keep from lying about something small while dating than it's going to be way more difficult to be honest when you are married. I'd rather take a girl on a hike but most women seem to be opposed to meeting a guy out in the wilderness for some reason. Occasionally one might come along who's comfortable with it and I've found hiking to be a great way to get to know someone.
