Hi, I'm not sure you can really judge someone from this, after all who is going to write I'm a selfish self obsessed narcissist who uses people and couldn't care less, though I suppose they would at least be honest. So I'd rather meet face to face to see how it goes than engage in a long *** if you want a quick hopefully accurate guide I'd say I am honest and easy going with a good sense of humour (but who doesn't hope that). While I'd love to find a soulmate I'm not going into this with any preconceptions and am more than happy to see how things go, from a casual bit of fun to a serious long term relationship. I'm not the sort to get upset or put out if you are not interested, its always interesting meeting new people, even if they are not really compatible anyway!I'm very into sporting activity and keep fit, badminton, football, swimming, gym and so on which hopefully keeps me looking and feeling somewhat younger! but I do like doing most activities, from a quiet drink, staying in with a film,a walk, or a trip to the cinema/theatre. I also like trying out new things. I'm also interested in wildlife and animals, If there's one thing I wish I could have it would be another dog, so if you have one and need a hand with walking duties that would be great! My music tastes are largely stuck in the 80's and 90's but I have very wide taste from jazz to rock to classical.I don't really have any goals or aspirations other than to write a book and be happy, I generally achieve the latter through not worrying about such things. I try doing my own business as well as working but its really more of a hobby at the moment. If it sounds like we may be compatible then look forward to hearing from you! Well I guess the recommended first date would be a tea or coffee somewhere, or a quiet drink and chat one in town one evening to see how things go and that sounds fine to me (and if you decide to make a run for it thats fine ;-) but hopefully not), but if you would prefer something else or a bit different I would be up for that as well, as I do like trying new experiences out! If you've read this far thanks, I'm impressed, I'm not sure I would and I wrote it!

..........with looks that wont scare your cat. (or dog!)Down to earth, kind, attentive, thoughtful and open minded.A gentleman; I would lay down my cloak in a puddle for you to step over ...... or I could just fling you over my shoulder and carry you across!Honest - Yes - I will tell you if your a*** looks big in it (but only if you ask me)Sense of humour - will always try to see the funny side of an awkward situation.Uncomplicated - I Don't play mind mind games.Update - thought it was about time to say a little more about myself; I enjoy going for a good row at the gym, Also I have recently rediscovered running, whether it be on the treadmill or preferably one of the many lovely routes right on my doorstep. I love playing badminton, although my enthusiasm exceeds my ability (and yes, I’m competitive, but not overly so!) Walking; either locally or exploring the unknown is great –; spell!) and yet have the capacity to laugh at themselves and the good and the bad things that this life throws at us.I’m independent and well house trained, but not too stuck in my ways and always prepared to compromise if needs be. Going for a drink or meal with friends and putting the world to rights is something I enjoy, but I do miss that warm glow of having the person you love beside you, joining in the banter, sharing the occasional loving glance, holding hands and the intimacy that finding the ‘one’ brings. Whoa! getting a bit deep now – for those of you still reading, thank you and on a practical note I would just like to add that I own my own house (clean & tidy) have a car and a good job. If you would like to know more drop me a line or two.Look forward to hearing from you.J A halfway pub? Saturday morning coffee? It shouldn't really matter - if the chemistry's right, the surroundings will be but a blur.
