I grew tired and stressed from the corporate rat race and wanted to spend more time with my son and family, so I left the commute down the I***and the pressure cooker life style for a new career in education. I worked for several years at an educational produce farm in Valley Center (Bell Gardens Farm), then managed an intergenerational science program for seniors and elementary students which led to being a curriculum developer for a high school environmental science text. Next I was a barista at Starbucks for 5 years, and now I'm working at Trader Joe's. Whew!I enjoy interacting with people and (hopefully) making a positive difference in their lives. I love spending time with my friends and family, and have friends ranging from their 20's to their 60's. To me age doesn't matter.....the person, their spirit and their attitude do. I love dogs (well, pretty much all animals), laughter, hugs and the smell of citrus blossoms. I'm hoping to find a man who loves and accepts me for who I am, and I will do the same for him.I have a great network of friends I'd love to introduce you to and hope you do to. I love to try new things, to work hard and workout, and be spur-of-the-moment. I own my own home in Escondido, have a 24-yr old son who's married, graduated from college and even has a good job in his field (biology). I grew up in the SF Bay Area (Marin County) and all my family still live there so I visit several times a year.. I love an afternoon at the beach.....boogie boarding in the water and laying in the sun. I make an mean margarita with all natural ingredients and enjoy a glass of fine red wine. I've *** floors in two rooms of my house (with the help of a friend), but there's always more projects to work on.
