Hmmmm what can I say about me. I am originally from the East Coast, I have been out for 20 yrs. I have a good job but unfortunately for some it involves shift work which seems to be a deal breaker for most. My bad girl days are behind me now, more laid back and easy going now. I am more of a hobby hike than, going for a 5 hr hike and a leaf of lettuce and a granola bar to get me thru. I like trying new things, it brings variety to my life. but I can be just as happy sitting at home curled up on the couch infront of a warm fire watching a good movie. I enjoy going to concerts, movies, dinners out, kayaking, long walks etc. or just hanging out with friends. My clubbing days are long behind me now, but occasionally I do like to go out for a night of dancing.For me I guess I am looking for someone that is laid back and easy going and can laugh at themselves, have fun and try new things. Ok, am I a Barbie Doll?. U betcha - well, not quite - I wish!! I do have the long legs though!! , but I'm happy with what my mumma gave me.! I'm happy go lucky with a bubbly personality. I'm a kind,caring, sincere person looking for the same in a man. I can laugh at my self and still have my British sense of humour (I'm originally from the UK, now a Canadian Citizen). Love the saying - "Keep Calm and Carry ON" , so very true of me...... I love travel, cycling, swimming and would take a beach holiday over skiing. Love the sun. Have travelled a lot before kids came along and would love to do more. Weekend getaways are great too. I enjoy good food, especially Thai and Indian. Music, love all sorts except Rap, Country and Hip Hop., love to dance. Friends and family are really important to me and although across the pond, I value the regular contact I have with them and try to visit them at least once a year. I have two great kids, one in late elementary and one in high school and I have shared custody with their dad who has them most weekends. My ex is a good provider for his kids and there is no drama between us - we have been happily separated now for over two years!!Although an older mom, I am not dead, lol! I am young at heart and fun loving. My spare time is obviously precious and I would love to find someone special to share it with. Ideally someone who is affectionate, a good communicator and can be a friend. So that's about it in a nutshell.
