Wow. What can I say that isn't a cliche or hasn't been written in one of these profiles 1,***times before?? Well,I'll be honest and try not to bore you to tears. At this point in my life, I'm old enough and experienced enough to know what I'm looking for in a relationship and a partner, but smart enough to realize that there's always more to learn...so I'm willing to be open-minded to surprises ( with the exclusion of prison terms or extended stays in mental *** would say I'm warm, personable, funny, caring, compassionate, passionate and down-to-earth. I can be outrageous & silly at times, and serious & quiet at other times (not in a bipolar way, at least I hope ;***. In a partner I look for someone who is honest and has a strong sense of self, a quiet confidence, what you might call 'character'...someone who's not pretentious and treats everyone with respect, whether they mop floors or own a hedge fund (actually, with recent economic shennanigans, I should update that to someone working on a cancer cure or a running a non-profit for the poor, ***, I guess). I also wouldn't mind if he can make me laugh, keeps himself in relatively decent shape and doesn't look like Shrek (and, yes, to all those who comment, Shrek IS cute in his own way, I agree!).I love to laugh til I cry, find such a great book that I dread that it has to end, an ice--roof; update: a Honda w/o a sunroof - times are tough!) on a gorgeous day singing at the top of my lungs - badly, good hair days & good butt days, and too many other things to list!If you actually made it through this entire thing, mazel toz:).Please do not respond without a recent photo. Thanks.Update: Oh, and I only check my e-mails, not the "favorite" and meet me" shenanigans on here!Update #2: And please don't contact me if you're a player (you know who you are;-)); been there, done that, and so over it. Thanks again.Update #3: Wow, I guess it's true that most of you guys really DON'T read our profiles, huh? (Basing this on the # of "favorites" & "meet mes" that continue to flow in).

I am a busy mom of four, and most of my time during the week is spent getting my kids where they need to be. I am so proud of them. I learn something from them every day. They inspire me to be a better person and challenge me to live my life in a way that will not only be an example to them, but help them to be successful in their own lives as well. Some of my Favorites:I love to dance and hang out with friends. I am also addicted to road trips. Every summer my kids and I adventure across the country to see new places and meet new people. I have traveled to 46 states and am hoping to see the last 4 by the end of summer ***. I love the mountains-hiking, camping or just having dinner and a campfire in one of the canyons. I always try to make people laugh. I am a total goofball. *Update-I only have 3 states left to see now*Some Other Interests:Books:I am not an avid reader, but, I love any children's book that I read at bedtime to my kids. The Day My Butt Went Psycho, and Captain Underpants are always a favorite in my house!Movies:Just about anything funny, the dumber the better! I think I like anything except horror films unless they have dark humor in them.Music:It is a toss up between 80's new wave and current hip hop. I just like a great dance beat!Food:I love finding local dives and mom and pop shops. I much prefer taking a risk at a local joint than waiting for an hour at some national chain. Specifically though, I love Sushi and Fresh Mex. I love what I do, and the company I work for. I also work part-time as a receptionist at a pediatric office. I am thinking of going back to school in the Fall. To do what exactly, I have no idea. Life Lesson:I was attacked by a rooster while collecting eggs from my grandpa's chicken coop when I was little. I still remember it as if it were yesterday...In slow motion even. The rooster looked me in the eye and came toward me slowly. I froze, I had nowhere to run. He attacked and I threw all of the eggs in the air and ran. I learned a valuable lesson that day, and have applied it to my life.-- DO NOT make eye contact with a rooster and always know your options for a quick escape. As far as qualities I am looking for in a man:Not much.....Well minus the tragic ending of course...I could never stab myself and besides, I don't think faking your own death ever turns out the way you imagine. I would have chatted with you on line several times and had some great conversations on the phone before we even set a date for the in person meeting.A first date would be something fun and a little adventurous. I am not shy and like to talk, so something that is condusive to communicating is ideal. Maybe a local restaraunt or a fabulous dive cafe. Nothing too serious because I just met you and need time to see if we are dating material.
