I would like to meet you and see if we have anything in common.I like many outdoor activities, but I don't mind being at home doing stuff around the house. I work long hours, and I love my days off...If interested, drop a line and we'll see what happens. HERE'S WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:A sensitive, financially secure man with a car who is educated and romantic, who does not have a bad temper and who has time and means to travel and meet local people with a woman who gets bored at 5-star resorts.A man who does not own or plan to own an RV or a boat and whose best friend is not his motorcycle.HERE'S WHO I AM:I love being outdoors (gardening, walking, fishing from a rowboat) but my frantically athletic days are over. I am free to travel (especially to the tropics) as long as I have a laptop and a phone.Love giving parties, am spontaneous and energetic. I am optimistic and fun, laugh often and have a wicked sense of humour. Can speak Spanish at an above-beginner level and enjoy latin dancing. I am very easy to get along with. I do not do well with routine. If you like what you've read I'd love to hear from you.Surprise me!

Friends say I'm an easy-going, happy, romantic, active, open-minded, honest, kind person who is fun to be around--but then they're my friends. I think laughter is an important part of each day. Retirement began July 1, ***and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself!! Try to spend time each day exercising, either walking or a class at a fitness center nearby. Family is extremely important to me and I hope family is important to a new friend. I have an adventurous side...have taken a couple of solo trips...glad I had a GPS. Although spring and fall are great, summer is wonderful. I love to plant and care for lots of flowers. Recently moved to a condo...enjoying the process of decorating and finding homes for my 'stuff'. While working, I was a board member of a local education foundation and also acted as liaison between a women's shelter and a local church. Since retiring, I have found a couple of areas to support...one involving children, the other a local hospital foundation. It is difficult to determine when being friends turn into more, but probably need to begin as friends who enjoy spending time together. If that friendship turns into something more how wonderful for both of us. It takes time to get to know someone but what fun that process can be. I look forward to a relationship with someone who is honest, kind, doesn't take themselves too seriously, not into playing games, and enjoys life as well. What fun it would be to take a ride to nowhere in particular, take weekend trips, plan long trips, watch TV snuggled up on the couch, or just enjoy each other's company whatever we do. Truly believe it is more about who you are with rather than what you are doing. Certainly not into drama and not wanting to change anyone...we are who we are!!P.S. I am not good at determining people's ages. If I have looked at your profile and you are considerably younger that me, please don't be offended :-)...I think I've heard that vision is the first to go!!!No specific idea in mind. Planning together is at least half of the fun! Once we get past that early, awkward, nervous part hopefully we can enjoy ourselves whatever we choose to do!
