Well, I'm often told I'm not like other girls. I can usually hold a pretty decent conversation without talking about celebrities, shopping, etc... I like beer, football, military movies, cars (I know how to change a tire and how to change the oil in my car--not saying I actually do that lol but I do know how!!) I don't expect a man to "take care" of me- I know what hard work is, and I'm not afraid of it. I worked 3 jobs, went to college full time, and raised my daughter--by myself for almost 3 years, but have raised her by myself since she was 7 months old. Since I've finished school (for now...) I am still raising her alone, and working full time. It's almost a stubborn characteristic that I'm so independent, and it takes awhile for me to give that part of me up and let a man do things for me...I work full time in the medical field as a back office assistant for a surgeons private practice... no, I don't go into the OR with him, but I do assist in office procedures, set patients up for surgeries, pre-op/post-op visits, etc... if you're really that interested, I'll tell you more about it later. :) Luckily I have a Monday thru Friday job, but some days can run a little late... Sunday mornings I'm in church, other than that my weekends are pretty tame. My free time is usually spent at home. My neighbors are my friends and we often just chill on the back patio with each other's company and a few ice cold beers while the kids play. I don't go out much these days. I blame that on my age... reached 30 and it's all been down hill! Haha. :) My daughter is 7, and her dad isn't really a part of her life, so it's usually just her and I. There's tons more to me, but I don't think typing a novel about it now is really the best way to get to know me... feel free to send a message. But please, if you're going to send a message, please don't just send a "hey" or "hi" or "what's up"-- that's not giving me much of a conversation starter! Apparently I need to put this out there--yes, I have good pictures of myself on here. Let's be honest--who's going to put up terrible pictures of themself when they are basically trying to "sell" themself to someone.. Yes- I am a pretty girl-- no, I'm not conceited or anything like that-just don't want anyone to think that I feel like I'm ugly... But I'm also a big girl- far from skinny. Not really sure I have the best pictures to show my "body".... Just thought I would put that out there... Anything can usually be turned into a good time. The only thing I ever ask of a first date is not to be lead on--if you aren't interested, make it be known. There are ways of doing that without being a jerk.Believe me, I'll do the same! We're all adults, and honestly, this girl may be a child at heart, but she's done playing games. :)

Oddly enough "me" is not my favorite subject to yammer on about, but here goes...I have a 4 year old daughter whom I love to pieces and couldn't imagine my life without, she always comes first. I've been single for a little over a year and I'm just starting to get back out there and test the waters abit. I'm a major nerd, I love to read and my favorite shows are Family Guy and Big Bang Theory. I listen to most types of music and I will loudly (and off key) sing most 90's rock when it comes on in the car. I love to shoot pool, dance, cook, and spend time with friends and family. I'm pretty laid back. I'm not a big fan of the bar scene, I'd rather cuddle up at home and watch a movie than deal with that nonsense. As far as what I'm looking for...I don't know 100%. I don't think any woman really does,and if she does she's gonna change her mind in about 10 minutes anyway. I do know what I can and can't deal with and what I'm open to. I'm a big fan of piercings, tats, sarcasm, and bouts of witty banter. If you would like to know more don't be afraid to ask! The whole point of a first date is to get to know eachother without feeling too terribly awkward. I personally prefer going out to dinner, maybe bowling, shooting pool, or taking a walk at the park.
