Hey there. I'm a 31 year old "desert rat". Outside of the extreme heat I love the southwest! I'm your typical All American Guy! I like sports, both on tv and live, like going out to do karaoke or see a show. I like to read, feel that family is very important and love to experience new things. I've recently found the "travel bug" I recentely had a couple rough relationships were I wasn't valued for who I am, how I cared or want to protect, or help shoulder the burdens that life offers. She needs to be smart, caring, kind, able to both give and take (as I like to give a lot), goal oriented or driven, and she needs to understand I am driven for success which is why I delve into work so much. Overall she should just be a happy person! I don't want "Debbie Downer". I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to think of all the negatives there are in this life (as some of my past relationships used to point out), but rather focus on what is good and postive in life. I think a first date should always be something fun while you get to know each other. I'm open to it also being something more low key like getting to know each other over coffee and dessert. Honestly I'm really open to anything so long as I'm enjoying who I'm with. When it comes to music I like a lot of different types but I prefer 80s, classic rock, modern rock, country and oldies. It's a wide variety for me. I'm also into movies and like music, I like a lot of types. My favorite is properly comedy. Drama is nice too but something light hearted is typically the way I go. I'm not afraid to admit this will include the sterotypical "chick flick" (Love Actually is probably my fave movie of all time). I'm really an open book, any questions typically are never turned away! I think a first date should always be something fun while you get to know each other. I'm open to it also being something more low key like getting to know each other over coffee and dessert. Honestly I'm really open to anything so long as I'm enjoying who I'm with. A wine tasting and sushi would be fun. A lounge with a good Internet juke box and****ails would be great too.

If I had to describe myselft I would say that overall I'm pretty laid back, but I don't mind leading the pack when required.
