Here's my story...I've been divorced a couple years out of a ***yr relationship, took some time to recover and now ready to venture out into the wild world of dating, something I never thought I'd be doing when I got married but, such is life. Figured this would be a good place to start, so all you guys don't let me down k!Not planning to rush into anything serious, but am a very versatile, never say never type. It all depends on what happens & who I meet! I love to sing and still hope to learn piano, guitar, or both one day. I occasionally write poetry and I like to read. Been told I have a good balance of intellect and common sense, I tend to know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. I'm very curious and am always asking questions because I usually need to know the how, what, when, and why of things. So being a good conversationalist is a must. I've been strongly considering going back to college to get my degree, just not positive yet.I'm a curvy woman in (mostly) all the right places, so someone who likes that as opposed to a petite woman is important (have a bit of a jelly belly), I'm not in as good of shape as I'd like so want to be more active. Motivation and healthy influence in this area would be awesome given I'm accepted as I am to begin with. Will glam it up to go out, but don't get fixed up to go to the grocery store. Fellas looking for a trophy, I'm not your gal. Looks aren't the most important thing, but realistically there has to be some attraction and either it's there or it's not for both. It can grow or disappear getting to know someone, ugly on the inside makes a person unattractive all around.I want to meet a gentleman who has good southern values (not a saint) and is Christian that knows how to treat a lady with respect and I'll be one in return. Doesn't mean I'm high maintenance, I know my self worth. There's not a fake bone in my body so I can't can't tolerate pretentiousness or snobbery, life is about sooo much more than things & way too short for them to take center focus. Time is too precious for anyone to waste so I do my best to be upfront and honest. Laid back & easy going are my type of people. Of course everyone likes a good sense of humor too, right? Being funny is a big plus since I love comedy & to laugh! Thanks for reading my epic novel!! PEACE, LOVE, & ROCK & ROLL!! My ideal date would be creative & a SURPRISE (as long as it doesn't involve physical danger!). Well, actually that goes for a second date, I want to know you before I let you surprise me. First dates themselves are surprise enough!!So that would leave it at a public place to meet (I don't know if you're safe yet!) where we can talk & get to know each other comfortably, somewhere agreeable to both. That's fair right?

I am a rootin' tootin' highfalutin' good time and a guaranteed laugh riot. I get my kicks by bowling on league, riding my bike hard and fast, attempting to play pool and people watching. A little about me....I have a great group of friends (although I'm sure everyone feels this way-otherwise they wouldn't be your friends), but I promise if you met them you would agree! These are some of the things I like to do: First Friday on the Green, Concerts in the Gardens, local tastings, The Kimbell, antiquing (please don't be scared, remember the friends I mentioned earlier-they can go in your place! I love what I do and want to give fair warning, I talk about it a lot. The idea of having a "job," where you just go in, work and leave isn't something I really understand. Everyday I get to see kiddos learning and growing-it's pretty fantastic!And here's the tough part-what I'm looking for. I don't want to answer anything cookie cutter because let's be honest we all want someone nice, that makes us laugh and that we are attracted to. I tend to like men that are passionate about their careers (whatever it is), quirky and a bit on the nerdy side (so in a way someone that compliments my personality). And now a little more about me: I'm quirky, I tend to talk a lot, I'm a morning person (sorry but true), I can cook about four things really well and the rest....lets just say I put a lot of effort in. My faith is my foundation. Being involved in your community makes it better! Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week-they just feel different. I do agree that wedges are the heels of your thirties. I adore the elderly, we have so much to learn from them. Patio weather and live music makes the world a beautiful place. A cold schooner on a hot day with a friend and a great story is pretty amazing. My dog is hilarious. I'm an active volunteer with some wonderful organizations. I'm addicted to passion tea from Starbucks, and super allergic to diet coke. A picnic in the park can set the world right.
