This is not a place I ever expected to be, but then, who does??. It's very difficult trying to critique yourself......... I am a person with a big heart , feet firmly planted on the ground and would be grateful to find someone with whom to share "life". I have a sense of humor but can also be serious when it is appropriate. I have many hobbies/interests including a volunteer committment and get enjoyment helping others. As for my physical appearance....I am petite, fit and said to be personable and attractive . I am an independant sort, can wield and axe if required or plaster a wall, I don't mind breaking a nail.....I have travelled extensively over the years but now it's maybe once or twice a year. I'm very fortunate to say I have lots of wonderful friends and they have used the term "unique" when describing me....as well as "entertaining"..... that you will have to find out for yourself...I guess my passion would be my piano....a musical gift passed on to me by my mother... comes in handy at a party...:) I am quite sociable, witty and comfortable in any social setting . I am the mother of two wonderful children, now grown and on their own, and live in the city for which I am eternally grateful. I own and maintain my own home and keep fit by participating in sports.....I think I'm fairly well-rounded with diverse activities. I miss back when I was in love. We all need love. Love comes in many forms , but I am talking about the love of a man. Someone who loves and respects me for who I am, just as I will do to you. The search for love has proved to be frustrating but I am forever optimistic that love will find me once again. The pond is large and I know you are out there. I'm not hot or gorgeous. I don't have an amazing figure or a flat stomach. I'm far from being considered a model but, I'm me. I eat food, I have curves, I have more fat than I should, I have scars, I have a history. Some people love me, some like me, some hate me. I have done good, I have done bad. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I am who I am, you can love me or not. I won't change!! And if I love you, I do it with my heart!! I make no apologies for the way I am.I have been told by many that I have a great sense of humour and am a very loving lady. I am quite independent and keep myself busy with my interests.In a perfect world I would find someone who would allow me to maintain my life style,as I would allow you to maintain yours. Smoker I am but I am very respectful of people's feelings towards it. Bad habit for sure.We all come with past experiences ,but it is time to live for the future. Looking for a friend to join me in my journey.I enjoy doing most activities, but there is a but. I really do not enjoy the camping outdoorsy experiences. That is not to say trailers or cottages , just not tents.
