It was an awesome responsibility and privilege to provide medical care to those needing it the most. I'm currently working on my B. S. in Biomedical Sciences and then planning to head to med school. My calling is to be a pediatric trauma/acute critical care neurological surgeon. Once I have completed this necessary training, I want to work internationally to provide medicine and surgery to those who have no money or access to healthcare. I also intend to be heavily involved in my future role as a trauma surgeon working with others to provide medicine & surgery to those effected by disasters. I have a sister 14 years younger than me, a brother 4 years younger than me and a brother 18 months younger than me. I recently lost the most loving, kind , gentle, caring, beautiful person in my life to stage IV breast cancer-i. e. my mother. I love people and to be there for them when they need it most. I choose to love people because they are who they are, not because of what they could be, should be, have been or will be. Each person is irreplaceable and invaluable.
