So this is where I hear alot of interesting stories from women that are adventure travelers, looking to find someone to explore the world. That's fine, but I have been there and done that. It's been over 20 years and going strong. In a past life I used to wear a suit to work every day. Now I wear a bathing suit to work every day. I believe that everyone should be able to do something they love at some point in their lives, either when they retire, or just their whole lives, like me. My favorite thing to do is cook a nice dinner for my girl and just be togeather . Going out is nice too, but quality time is not overrated. Everyone is so in a hurry these days that nobody stops to smell the roses anymore. My entire backyard is an herb and vegetable garden that provides me great pleasure all Summer long with fresh, organic produce. My goal is to find someone that also is passionate about the outdoors, either boating, hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, gardening, planting and enjoying flowers, or just mushroom hunting in the woods. Simple pleasures. And I am not interested in many dates, only ones that potentially will end up with my better half at my side for the rest of our lives. What I like about computer dating is that we are forced to learn about each other prior to even meeting in person, The problem with meeting individuals in person, is the potential hazard of "chemistry" taking over and we are sleeping togeather that night. Then it's difficult to go backwards and do it right. My first date would be after a few *** phone conversations in order to really get to know her. I'm just me...a normal guy with dreams and aspirations. A while back I had a married female co-worker that became a good friend (platonic). She was pretty hot (i.e. beautiful) and pretty much became the center of attention in any room she entered. Anyway, she moved away to another city and a couple years later I heard from her via *** was going through a divorce. Now I'm not the greatest looking guy, and never thought I would hear from her again, so it was a huge surprise to me when she told me that the way I treated & respected her made her feel really comfortable, safe, & special and that she grew to realize that even after her 12 years of marriage and two kids with her husband that she did not get those same feelings from him. Wow! I had no idea what to say. This admission made me feel sad... I'm sure there must have been more to it all that caused her divorce... but at the same time I was kind of proud that I made that impression on her... it tells me that I am doing something right in the way I treat the people I care about. I'm not really sure why I mentioned it, I just think it says something about who I am which is what this section is all about in my profile.... so take it for what its worth to you.My hobbies are electronics, computers, home improvement projects, wood working, design. I've very handy around the house and am currently remodeling my master bathroom... a large project... grab a hammer and paint brush if you want to help.
