I am What I am, I am am my own special creation so come take a look, give me the hook or the ovation, it's my life that I want to have a little pride in and life's not worth a damn until you can shout out I am what I am, Can you? I often get in trouble for speaking my mind so if you u offend easily don't contact me. My one huge addiction is life. I am looking for a someone to share interests, long conversations about the state of the universe with, it doesn't send us anything we can't handle! candle lit dinners and romantic walks along the beach. So I guess that means being a romantic helps. Must be brutally honest I don't offend easily. Must be able to hold an intelligent conversation. I have a very warped sense of humour so i guess that could help too. And don't judge a book by its cover because although i look like a girly girl I'm not. Life's to short to play games so I don't, I expect the same. I am at a point in my life that I am very happy with but someone to share special moments with can never go astray. I Love Sci- fi films and am not afraid to live life!! My ideal partner will also be secure emotionally and mentally and confident in himself. If you think I'm going to jump your bones the first time we meet and are going to get upset when it doesn't happen don't waste my time. I only say what I mean and I mean what I say and I expect i know what I'm looking for and wont be convinced out of it so time wasters need not contact me.a coffee and a chat or maybe a quiet drink.

Let me preface this with a little info on where I live. I live in the high desert...WAIT...When we moved up here I knew that anything I would want to do would involve driving distances. I think it is worth it! Besides, YOU DON'T ALWAYS FIND THE TREASURE BURIED IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD!Since you are this far, might as well finish reading my profile.I am not sure I am a true adventurer, but I would like to be. The other possibility was Hopeless Romantic. Romantic, kind of. Hopeless, I hope not!I like to explore, from ghost towns to busy ones. I like to travel, from day trips to longer ones. It's fun to go but it's always good to get home. I enjoy nature and like camping but I prefer it not be too rustic. I like to putter around the house and it's more fun to do it with someone. My family is very important to me and I hope yours is to you. I like most all kinds of music but tend to listen to country the most. I like to dance but it has been a while since I did so. I have a good work ethic and appreciate the same in others but FUN is SO important.I have been single for sometime now. I have dated some but not too seriously. Maybe it is time to get more serious, though I REALLY don't want to go on date after date with no end in sight. Friends tell me I look better in person than in my pictures, I'd like to think they are being truthful. I feel younger than my age. Guess that comes from keeping up with my young adult children and their friends and my grandchildren! I am lucky enough to have lots of friends, you can never have too many friends. But I would like a "finish-the-rest-of-my-life-with" partner. Some men seem to want to go from "hello" straight to "let's meet"( for about two seconds), straight to explicitly discussing those things we do not discuss here. Why don't we *** a bit first? Or talk on the phone? Get to kind of know each other first. I want more than just a casual relationship, I want that special one person I do hope is out there. Don't you?In case you are wondering, "where the heck is Pinon Hills", I will tell you. Pinon Hills is in the high desert of San Bernardino county, at the base of Wrightwood, west of Hesperia and Victorville, about ***miles west of I-15. Okay, sounds way too far!...well, not really! The trade-off for living here is that I usually spend quality alone time driving to get to most anything I want to do. A drive is a small price to pay for living her, it is so worth it. I grew up and still work in La Verne. My son and his family are in Orange County and most all of my friends live "down-the-hill". So, I am down-the-hill, a lot.I just may be that treasure you won't find in your own backyard!!Let's talk a bit and see what we come up with together.
