I currently work as an RN at a huge hospital in DC in Labor and Delivery...and so far I LOVE IT. I did a lot of mission work throughout high school and college, and have an innate drive to help other people in any way I possibly can, which is probably why I ended up choosing a career in nursing, I honestly couldn't see myself doing anything else. Ultimately I want to establish a practice in a free clinic setting as an NP or clinical specialist, I worked in a free clinic during college and I know that's where my heart and passion are. I think there is something to be said about reaching out into the community and how that could change a society.I love to explore and be spontaneous, and DC is the perfect area for spontaneity. When I'm not working I love to go out dancing (I've just recently started getting into blues dancing), find new restaurants, go to a concert/show at a new venue, or maybe on weekends I'll find myself going out to a dive bar or a club. DC has the best record stores, I definitely might be looking for some new records to build my CD/vinyl collection on my day off :) If it's one of those nights to stay in, I might try to cook something new (I love to cook and bake new recipes, there's always more to master when it comes to a kitchen and a recipe!..I moved to the DC area in July ***for my job and I'm always and looking to meet new and interesting people, make new friends, and put on listening ears for some great life stories :) Also very open-minded for something potentially more serious relationship wise in the world of dating, but I tend to always go with a flow and just see how life unfolds itself, however it may be! :)
