So National Geographic says that the mid west is one of the worst places to live if you are single and trying to find your significant other. I'm totally starting to believe it! (Now let's see how many won't read the profile and ask me "what does nat geo say". yes I hear that question a lot. LOL I've been able to spend a lot of time being single and figuring out who I am and what I want and I'm very thankful for that. I'm not willing to settle, I just want the guy who fits nicely in my life and me in his! I'd like to say I'm thoughtful, romantic, independent, loyal and usually full of energy. I like to do soooo many things. I love music, dancing and movies. I've been known to dance for hours. I'm very close to my family and believe that is very important. I also have an awesome group of friends that I spend a lot of time with. So here are some things I'm looking for in a guy: Honesty, loyalty, romantic, independent, strong, thoughtful and passionate. It is important that he is a social creature because a lot of time is spent with family and friends doing different things. Of course the attraction has to be there. It's all about the chemistry together. I'm sorry but you MUST have a picture or I'm not going to meet you. Communication is KEY, no beating around the bush and telling me all the things you think I want to hear just say it like it is and take your chances of it not working out. If it's meant to be, it will be. Please just be yourself. I also need someone who is secure and happy with himself and where he is in his life because only then will he be ready for a relationship.There seem to be many on here that aren't taking this real seriously. I'm not interested in a texting or *** If you are the type to text your first line of communication then you aren't the one for me....I'd much rather talk to you in person then an impersonal text message. :) I think the first date can vary and it's going to depend upon how we've hit it off on the phones calls. More than likely a first date would be for a drink after work or maybe going for a really great cup of cofee at a local coffee house.

..all in all, pretty laid back. Recently acquired a scooter (and no, not the kind that elderly people ride), it's yellow and black (like a bumblebee but doesn't sting, unless I wipe out and go sliding down the road on my ass!), to be exact it's what they call an "E-bike", but who ever really uses the pedals on those things?I have 2 children, different dads (it happens), my son is 23 and my baby girl is 17.
