Since I'm bored and I can't sleep, why don't I share some observations and pointers, from a female perspective, to help all you gents out there improve your profiles. - Smile in your pictures. This isn't a mug shot. Girls don't like to date guys that scare them. Oh, and 99.***% of you are not models, so cut the serious and sensitive poses and just include some pictures of you looking natural. - Including no pics will lead girls to assume that you're old, fat, ugly, or just not who you say you are. Include at least ***pics- Including body shots of you with your shirt off standing in front of the bathroom mirror or posing at the gym and acting like you belong there will lead to girls assuming that you're either (a) a douche, or (b) just looking for sex. Which is fine, if that's the case, just know how girls are perceiving you. . - No pictures with girls! We don't care if it's your sister, your cousin, or your best friend. It's a turn off. - If all of your pictures are from really far away, that's a problem. Include head shots. - If all of your pictures look really old, that's a problem. Include ONLY recent pictures. - Don't round up on your height or down on your weight. Trust is the most important thing to girls and if we feel like you lied to us before you even knew us, we won't date you. - While I'm on the topic, just don't lie in your profile at all. It's not a good look. - Your main profile picture should be of you, and only you, smiling, close up. If it doesn't meet all three of these, your likelihood of us checking out your profile tanks. - Absolutely no pictures of hundred dollar bills, expensive bottles of champagne, your Rolex, or you standing by some ridiculous car. Girls are not stupid. We know that none of these things belong to you and you probably just lifted the pic from google images. - While I'm at it, girls don't really like to see pictures of you holding/standing next to dead things. Ie. fish, deer, etc. - In the About Me section, start by highlighting the features and benefits of you. In your profile, it's your job to sell us on yourself. Why you? What's special or unique about you? What can you offer us that every guy up and down the street hasn't offered us already. Differentiate yourself. But don't over do it. Girls like confidence, not****ness. - If you can make us laugh with your headline, you'll be off to a great start. Girls will remember you. - Don't even bother adding us to your "Favorites List". It's kind of creepy, like putting our profile on speed dial. - Same for the Meet Me thing. Just skip it and send us a message. - When you send us a message try to make the subject line memorable, otherwise it's pretty likely that your message will get screened and deleted without even being read. - Most importantly, if you're going to copy and paste the same message over and over again, THAT'S FINE, but don't ever send it to the same girl twice (or three or four or five times in some cases). At least TRY to make us feel like you wrote that message just for us. As soon as we know that we're part of a copy and paste scheme, you'll be out of the running permanently. Seriously.

Bienvenue sur le profil de la femme parfaite.Bon, j'exagère peut-être un peu... mais si nous décortiquons selon les générations, cela se pourrait bien!1) Je fais de la bouffe, le ménage, et je sais coudre. Parfait pour la génération de mes grands-parents... mais c'est un peu trop vieux pour moi.2) Je suis zen, j'aime la nature et la musique!. Mais je ne prends pas de drogues... alors on oublie la génération plus "hippie".3) Je suis une professionnelle, indépendante financièrement et ambitieuse. Cela ressemble plus aux critères de notre génération...4) J'aime les jeux vidéos, je sais monter mes propres ordinateurs et je n'ai pas besoin d'un homme pour clouer. Cela s'adresse plus aux mordus de technos...En gros, pour faire simple, je suis un amalgame de plein de trucs. Polyvalente, légèrement taquine, pleine d'humour, je me considère agréable à côtoyer, même si cela ne serait que pour une simple sortie car tous les sujets de discussion sont bons!Le respect est la base de toutes mes relations. J'apprécie la franchise et j'admire les personnes authentiques. Si vous venez à moi en vous disant que je serais parfaite pour satisfaire vos désirs hormonaux à court terme, vous pouvez aller voir une autre femme. Cela ne m'intéresse même pas. Et ceux qui n'ont pas compris ce que je viens d'écrire, allez aussi voir ailleurs ;-).Je suis, à priori, une professionnelle du milieu de la recherche. Du VIH, plus exactement. Mais je suis également étudiante à l'université en gestion. Et, en plus, je m'entraine plusieurs fois par semaine. Si on fait le calcul, cela veut dire que je possède un agenda de ministre. Mais si cela en vaut la peine, je suis parfaitement capable de créer les espaces qu'il faut pour y insérer une nouvelle personne...J'ADORE voyager. J'ai visité plusieurs pays, et je compte en découvrir à chaque année. Mes voyages pour ***sont déjà planifiés, même!J'ADORE la nature. Si vous aimez vous promener des heures, ça me fera plaisir de marcher avec vous. Hiking, bootcamp, zumba (désolée les hommes, une autre addict), rajoutez-en... tant que l'on bouge et que l'on s'amuse, je suis partante!Comment mieux me décrire...J'ai les cheveux roux, non-naturels. Des yeux verts très pétillants, parfois changeants. Un sourire contagieux et un regard franc.Je ne suis pas très grande, je l'admets, et je suis costaude. Je ne ressemble donc en rien aux poupées que l'on peut parfois croiser... Costaude car je m'entraîne beaucoup, mais j'aime me sentir forte. Je possède quand même de belles courbes féminines, ne vous inquiétez pas, puisqu'on m'a interdit l'altérophilie... ;-)J'ai divers tatouages sur moi qui ont tous des symboliques particulières. Mais rien de grossier ni déplacé... Je privilégie de loin les lieux de rencontre publics, mais pas trop bruyants. Bien que cela puisse être une stratégie parfois pour se "rapprocher", avoir à crier dans l'oreille de l'autre ne m'enchante aucunement.Je m'attendrai évidemment à des sujets de conversation qui ne sont pas basés que sur la superficialité. Si je me retrouve devant une personne qui me fait passer un questionnaire où je peux constater exactement là où je gagne ou perd des points, je vais me mettre à inventer des niaiseries car il n'y aura plus d'intérêt... ;-)Oh, et petite note. Une conversation, ça se fait à deux. Oui je peux parler beaucoup, mais j'aime bien ce qu'on appelle de l'interaction...
