I've got a good thing going out here, and I'd like to make it just a little bit better by enjoying it with you... so come on down, and welcome to the show...I'm just a laid back guy who likes to have fun. I love the outdoors but try not to spend my entire life outdoors. I like the gym but don't live at the gym. I just got into crossfit but don't drink the "crossfit coolaid". I've spent my entire career working outdoors in one way or another and NOT inside an office, which is how I like it. The sensation of being inside an office feels similar to drowning for me. So I avoid it at all costs. Otherwise I spend my time snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, or thinking up new ways to bring sarcasm and wit into everyday, mundane situations. It's a nice life I lead... clean, simple, and drama free. Y'all seem to enjoy complicating things unnecessarily sometimes. Please don't complicate my life with your nonsense. That's all I really ask. Otherwise... bring it on. I am really good at: Staying calm and smiling when I don't really want to. Daydreaming. Laughing at inappropriate things during inappropriate times. Getting irritable pets that bite to like and not bite me. Driving long distances. Riding trains. Feeling awkward when there's no reason to be feeling awkward. Drinking (which is why I don't). Sleeping. Exercising. Staying active. Watching movies. Pretending to understand heavily accented conversations when in reality I have no clue what anyone is saying at all. Writing like Kerouac on speed. Writing poetry even though I can't stand poetry. Snowboarding. Avoiding people I don't like. Managing to find the squeaky, lumpy-wheeled shopping cart every.single.time. Not eating seafood. Staying disciplined and positive. Swimming like a fish. And of course... not being a**** Also, I have never hit a woman. Nor have I ever even considered hitting a woman. I think this should be one of the items on POF's checklist. Right next to smoking preference. Somewhere public. Ladies, you should do the same. Although a nice hike in the woods sounds like a fantastic idea for our first date, I don't know you, and we've all seen those crime TV shows about love gone wrong. Who needs all that? Dinner or a nice city walk works for me (on me of course). Maybe we hit up the trail on the second or third date.

I tend to be a little sarcastic and hope you'll be able dish it back to. I'm determined to find the right person and I'm not willing to settle. I always have to be doing something active or learning something new otherwise I get pretty bored. A little about me- During the summer you can usually find me on the river or lake either kayaking, fly fishing, wakesurfing or wakeboarding. You can sometimes find me tying flies on week nights to pass the time. I find it extremely relaxing to turn on some good music, crack open a beer and tie some flies. In the winter I'm snowmobiling or snowboarding sometimes at the same time. I'm a big fan of going on adventures and exploring the mountains or even finding new restaurants. I discovered that you can surf on rivers last summer and I'm hooked. Super fun!! I try to work out or do something active ***times a week. I am working on getting my pilot's license right now. This might sound lame but I have wanted to get my pilot's license ever since I was a kid after watching TOP GUN. Having the ability to fly wherever I feel the need to go will give me a lot of freedom in the future to travel and see new places without the hassle of large airports; in other words I love going on spontaneous weekend vacations. I love discovering new microbreweries and tasting new brews. Do you have any suggestions for a new brewery to check out? If you have any questions send me a message I would love to hear from you. Dinner, drinks, any outdoor activity, or a Rockies game, a day of snowboarding. I'm down for almost anything.
