Jumped on this site some time ago, but in all honesty, haven't really given it much of a chance, so I thought I'd give it another go. You can get me at jwfankm at gmail too. Certainly not desperate to meet someone, but it would be fun to make some new friends. I can't guarantee I'll sweep you off your feet, but I'm pretty sure we'll laugh and have a good time. Give me a shout!5 traits to describe myself: Confident, loyal, hard working, laid back, and spontaneous.5 things that make me happy: -Making pretty women laugh and smile!-Goofing with my 2 gorgeous daughters.-Time with friends. I have an awesome group of friends that I went through high school and college with.-). -I love spontaneous outings. An evening out, with no plan other than to try somewhere new. Or pack a bag for a weekend, and flip a coin to decide what direction to head. -Outdoor “get out of the house” activities in the warmer months, irresponsible bummish weekends at home in the colder months. 5 random things about my life:-After college, I left my small home town for about 5 years, but came back to be with family, and to give my children the “small town” growing environment I had.-I’ve had some success as the co-owner and manager of a family owned grain elevator. I work too many days/hours in the fall, but balance that with time off in the summer.-I’m divorced, and have primary custody of my children, but currently allow my ex to share them ***with me.-Post college dating days, I’ve basically had 2 serious relationships, and I know both past partners would still speak very highly of me. -I serve on the board for the local hospital. It’s been eye opening as I’m learning more and more about the medical world.5 things I look for in a woman: self-confident, cool, happy with life, quick to laugh, believes in taking good care of herself.5 ways to get my attention: be open minded, be spontaneous, dress like a woman, be nice to everyone, flash me a dazzling smile.I’m told I am pretty fun guy, and am probably guilty of not acting anywhere near my age. But, screw that. You can be as young as you feel like being. I choose to live life healthy, active, and to strive to always be laughing. I will be honest, I probably won’t respond if you’re not brave enough to post (or send) a pic – I did. I’m not looking for super models or beauty queens. But, I am looking for someone that has enough self respect to take care of themselves, and who does the best with what they’re given. I’m obviously not a pretty boy (thank god) or from muscle beach (but I do work out). I do make a conscious effort to do the best with what I’ve got. I do that both to feel good in my own body, and for the benefit of my partner. I respect those that do the same. If I’ve even remotely triggered your interest, give me a shout. You’ve got nothing to lose! Good luck in your search for “the one”, and thanks for checking me out! “the one” :p“If you can make a woman laugh, you can make her do anything.” - Marilyn MonroeBet I can make you laugh …. ;) I don’t know that we have to have a formal “date”, but my hope would be that if you have any interest at all, maybe we could just meet for a couple of drinks. If we’re having a blast with that … go grab some supper. If we’re having a blast with that … go see where our spontaneous selves can take us!

That's right; I'm a programmer... a career that chose me more than I chose it. I'd like to think I don't fit the stereotype with the pocket protector, horn rimmed glasses and collection of Star Trek action figures. The way I look at it, I get paid to solve puzzles. When I’m not tickling a keyboard I’m usually doing something involving soccer… watching, coaching and sometimes playing. Both of my kids play and I’ve been coaching since they were young. I love how the game helps kids build confidence, teaches them to solve problems creatively and shows them the value of working as part of a team. Now don’t think soccer consumes my life. I read when I have the time and like to kick back with a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy the company of friends . Of course my children and their activities get much of my attention. My daughters are great kids and being here for them is very important to me. I have passed up more than one career opportunity so I could stay local and be a part of their lives every day.As I get older it is becoming more important to me to mange my health. I'm not a fitness or health food nut but I make the time to run and go to the gym as often as I can and I rarely eat fast food. It's important to me to find someone who enjoys a similar lifestyle so lets face it, if your average meal is handed to you though the window of your car then we probably don't have much in common.I'm looking for a woman who is just as comfortable in a hot pair of heels and a flirty dress as she is in flip-flops and a ball cap. I'm looking for real conversation here with someone who is confident in expressing her opinion and open minded enough to consider another point of view. Most importantly she has to have a positive outlook on life and be willing to get a little silly. Oh, and did I mention rollercoasters? Getting together for a drink or coffee is fine but I would rather do something; it makes it easier for both of us. Bowling, darts, pool... whatever. As long as it's not something you take too seriously... just something to do while we talk.
