Most everything I have applied myself to has received my fullest attention and I have excelled in nearly everything I have applied myself to. That's not to say I haven't been knocked on my a*s a few times. Getting back up and going back at it, made the difference and helped build my character. Family is important to me and I feel I have strong values when it comes to family. Due to my upbringing, just over a decade ago I was living overseas following a dream and profession of mine. The experience changed my life and helped me realize what really matters. I have been told I look much younger than I really am. I just hope that lasts in my 40s and 50s... I do not live with any roommates and am constantly doing something to improve the apartment. Regarding my interests, I love comedy and have a knack for making people laugh. Music is a universal language and I like all genres (certain rap, hip hop and country make me a little sick). I've attended some pretty unique concerts from Bon Jovi to Goran Bregovich to local folk concerts. I played volleyball in a couple city leagues and still teach a couple nights a week.I would like to have someone I could cook for and spend time with (either sitting at home watching a movie or going out in the city or out of town). I would like to go some place where we can actually sit and talk, maybe over a couple drinks. Or, enter a pie eating contest

I'm looking for someone with a big heart. I'm not looking for a fling, so please don't bother with that. I'm a kind person who loves helping others, even if it's a stranger on the street. Looks aren't as important as what's inside of you. I want to give someone my heart, and I want the same in return. I don't want to stare at your pretty face, I want to hold you close and feel your heart beat. First dates are tough... My ideal first date would have to be something quiet where we can talk. A picnic would be nice. We could enjoy a small meal, a bottle of wine, then lay down stare at the clounds and enjoy some positive conversation and smell the fresh flowers. But who the hell are we kidding? That never happens, right?
