Ok, so I find myself back on an online dating site, filling out all of these wonderful questions. I've tried online dating in the past, and feel it can work. It's a lot of work, but what the hell...right? I've read a bunch of profiles and most of them seem to share the same sentiment... women want men who don't cheat, and don't lie. Just a hint girls, most of us want the exact same thing!! My son will be 21 this year and after raising him on my own for all those years, I am finally getting used to the whole "empty nest" thing. It kind of snuck up on me and I wasn't ready at first... I think I'm finally used to it. I'd love to find someone to share the next chapter with.I am drama free and hope that you are also. We all have some type of "crap" that we can't help but bring with us... the difference is whether or not it's contained!! Hopefully I'm not coming across too jaded here...lol. I told you this online dating thing is hard work! If you're real, and looking for a relationship... and not just window shopping, say Hi and let's talk... Oh, and YES, I have a great job, a vehicle and a house (and NO, my mom doesn't live in the basement! lol)... Just in case NOT having those is a deal breaker... With this venue I think keeping it simple is important. I don't think either of us want to be stuck out at dinner with someone when we're really not feeling it... Let's get a coffee or q drink and see if there's a spark. Date two is endless with possibilities, right?

Believing in the basic goodness of most people, it’s my nature to try to help others when I can. Whether donating to a charity, or buying an extra bag of groceries for the food bank, I have a giving spirit. While I’ve been taken advantage of, it doesn’t happen often. Not a total pushover, I can say no – I just believe in offering a hand “up” when I can. Life is good. With a good job, family and friends, I’m pretty happy with life and the interests I have. But I’m also one who believes that there is a “right someone” out there for everyone. So, I’m hoping to meet a special and like-minded woman with some of the same interests to spend time and have fun with. Am I interested in a long term committed relationship? Keep reading.Laid back and easy-going, I’m not a player, nor am I looking for a hook-up. Considering my own self-respect, the respect for the woman who will be special in my life, and being respectful of the relationship, I’m not looking for a hook-up and don’t have any nude pictures. What I do have is a love of laughter and good times. Attentive and affectionate, I love to cuddle on the couch to watch a movie, or holding hands while we explore someplace new. Admittedly “horse crazy” most everything I own has something to do with a horse about it. Honest, compassionate, unselfish, thoughtful, faithful and non-judgmental, I look for those same qualities in others around me, and in the woman special in my life. A good sense of humor with playful give and take is essential for keeping things drama-free, and I appreciate a woman who takes care of herself. Attractive and confident, her personality draws and includes others because of her kindness and warmth. And if she has a smile that lights me and everyone around her, I’d like to think I had something to do with putting it there. Flowers and Chocolate First of course.Dinner (I cook)Horse back ride at sunsetGood conversation, laughter, and a movie.
