I listen to all kinds of music. My interest are varied. Through the years my interest have changed as I have evolved into who I am today. I am happy and greatful for everyday. There is a small comic in me. A little levity goes a long way. I can laugh at myself too. I am looking for an honest, trusting friendship that would hopefully become a long term relationship. It would be so wonderful to find the man who truly enjoys my company and I the same. Getting to know each other as we learn and grow. A great man who wants me as much as I want him. I am young at heart with a happy go lucky spirit. I would rather look at the glass as half full. I think I am a woman with a good character and personality traits. I am honest and don't pretend to be anyone else than who I am. I like living and focus on the good in life. Will talk more when we meet..... We can see what we both like and just go with it!

Friendship first, then we'll see how it goes. I'm quiet at first until I get to know someone. I love animals, reading - especially mysteries with a paranormal twist, music, movies, taking walks, day trips, and technology. And of course I'm open to new interests with the right person. I love quotes and I think too much. So I guess you could say I'm a bit of a philosopher. At the same time, I tend to see the humor in the everyday. Humor makes life quite enjoyable. In my leisure time I prefer not to rush. I was married for 24 years. Chemistry and personality are most important, and a picture doesn't tell the whole story. We won't know if we have it until we meet, and that attraction isn't rational. It's easy to list qualities of the type of person we think we'll be attracted to, but the reality isn't that simple. Work is important but it's not the only thing. I enjoy being around people who don't take themselves or life too seriously. I'm looking for a guy who is real, kind, has a sense of humor, and thinks our time together is special. And we can be ourselves. Someone to spend time with, even it's just hanging out together, taking a walk or snuggling while watching a movie. Even doing the everyday mundane things we all have to do with your partner makes it all worthwhile. I saw this quote and thought it summed up how I view finding that special someone at this point in my life:"Midlife love rocks, and not because it pushes loneliness out of the picture. It's because we've lived long enough to understand how important this kind of connection is - at any age - and how blessed we are to have found it. And since time is a precious commodity, we're less inclined to play games and more inclined to ask for what we want. -- Maybe something simple like coffee and conversation, or it could be a drink before a movie. Whatever it is that will help us relax and be ourselves.
