I have been single for a number of years after a 24 year marriage, and although I am independent and rather content with my life, there are moments when I think I would like to meet someone special to share activities such as day trips, movies, dinners, theatre, etc. I have two grown children, and three grand children. Even if we don't find the sparks, perhaps some new friendships could develop. Although I am now retired, I babysit my two youngest grandchildren ***days a week. Who knew that being a grandmother could be so much fun. Many of us have become content living our lives solo (I am no exception), but in my heart I know that something is definitely missing.
