Sometimes these are the most boring things to read... and, I hate to talk about myself, so I will try to make this short and sweet. Even in ***degrees, I still find myself smiling when I wake up each morning. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and when I couldn't find a teaching job I decided to go to Beauty School. I have been doing hair for 9 years, have managed and owned a salon and prefer to just be a stylist and make my clients beautiful! They are very well mannered and will steal your heart. If you do not like dogs, you need not apply, and if your dog could eat my dogs, don't lead with that... I have heard it a million times. I love to be outdoors... hiking, road biking, laying by the pool and being lazy... I am a fashion fanatic and may have a bit of a shopping addiction. I actually turned a bedroom in my house into a giant walk in closet. I love to be around good friends and in good company. I am SUPER close with my family, I see them at least weekly, and would love to find someone who appreciates that and who value's their family as well. I love to travel and get out of town as much as possible. I love music, and take in a lot of different concerts. I like a wide variety of music, can't really tolerate super heavy metal or techno, and my heart melts for R&B. I do not take life very seriously, and I love to laugh... so if you can make me LOL (haha) you have got brownie points right from the start. I also love sports. I love to go to a game, or to a sports bar and watch one on tv. To be very honest, I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Right now I am concentrating on living each day to the fullest and loving the person that I am. I am at a very good place in my life right now so I am going to ride it out and see where it takes me. I am looking for someone who I have a connection with, and that may come in the form of a friendship, and that is great too. I don't like to push relationships, and just because we may not have that spark doesn't mean that we couldn't be good friends. I guess I got a little long winded... sorry for the novel. If you want to know more, just ask! I guess there is no perfect first date, because with different people you would want to do totally different things. If I had to plan a perfect first date for me, it would be doing something outdoors... going on a hike, to the zoo, a baseball game... somewhere we could chat and get to know each other. Then maybe catching a happy hour somewhere and get some food and a couple drinks.

I'm newly single in my 30's ***things I've embraced with enthusiasm and a smile :)My life is great and right where i want it to be. I have a fairly high stress job but feel like I manage well balancing work and play. I enjoy road trips, spontaneity, scary movies, humor, passion, surprises (the good kind!), hanging out with friends, catching a movie or just relaxing around the house. My friends would tell you there's never a dull moment! I'm just looking to hang out with someone and if it clicks then we can take it from there.Things I look for:compatible intelligence independentdecisiveperfect mixture of dry/silly sense of humorgainfully employed/self-sufficient (I am, youshould be too)genuinely kind spirited and considerate but still have your man cardhonesty (We're women. Trust me, we just know)sports fan (except NASCAR)confidencehave a bit of bad boy in you :)Things that'll send me packing:Stage-5 clingersOverly sensitive typesDishonesty Someone who doesn't take pride in their smileTarheel fans j/k (hey, I went to State - Go Pack!)Cockiness I'm super laid back, love laughing and being surrounded by good people. Whew, it ain't easy selling how great you think you are! I'm out! Happy fishing :) Ah yes, the nerve racking first date. I've found that you can pretty much tell if you're semi interested in the other person pretty quick, at the very least if you're physically compatible, so dinner is a good start. If sparks fly, go with it. If not, at least there was an opportunity to meet someone new :)
