When you fish by throwing out a net *** carefully planned and skilled pole-fishing, you get what you get. Sometimes this is like fishing with dynamite! You end up with a bunch of dead fish floating on the surface, but no good live ones that are worth keeping. Yet, I keep showing up to the pond. I'm glad enough that I've met some good and lasting friends in this pond, which continues to make it worth it.
