Let's see, how to describe myself... Trying to fold fitted sheets frustrates me to no end. I can't stand the taste of celery. I also don't like olives but I really wish I did. As a kid, I wanted to be a Paleontologist. In high school I wanted to be a Marine Biologist. In college I studied Computer Science. Now I work as an IT Consultant and spend my free time reading about the ocean and playing dinosaurs with my three year old nephew. I have set foot in 26 of the 50 states. I have been self-teaching myself guitar for 12 years. I'm still learning. Feel free to suggest songs I should learn to play! It's so much more than beads and booze. Such an amazing city!So those are some scattered facts about me! I am also the youngest of three with a brother and a sister. My parents are awesome, hilarious, and my inspiration. I love all kinds of music and enjoy discovering new genres and artists. Right now I'm really in to the indie pop/singer songwriter and Alt Rock genres. I also really love live music. It's always a great opportunity for us to get together and enjoy some great shows and do some bonding since almost none of us live in the same city anymore. I love going to the gym. I prefer doing weights, and sometimes cardio is a chore, but I have to go a few times a week. I really enjoy reading about science and learning how things work. Often times, you can find me at the Coffee Hound on a Saturday or Sunday morning reading Discover or Scientific American. I would love to meet someone who isn't in a hurry to get somewhere and is more about enjoying the ride. Someone who values and strives to live a healthy lifestyle. Maybe even someone who can teach me how to fold my fitted sheets...

.. I'm intelligent, blunt, brutally honest, easy going, open-minded but slightly opinionated. Love the hell out of my kids and my dog, family and friends are important. I joke a lot & tease everyone at the slightest opening. No where even slightly resembling shy. I'm in good shape but not a body builder. Have been described as intense. I guess that's good. I'm just me. Came to visit my kids, decided to stick around. One place is as good as the next, I like the country, and was tired of only seeing them a few weeks out of the year. Prefer to experience rather than watch. Always looking for something new and interesting to do. I'd like to connect with someone... but I'm picky. Don't just want to get laid, that part is easy. I'm looking for personality, intelligence, a sense of humor and attractiveness-in that order. The simple ability to hold up your end of an intelligent conversation is very attractive. Must have at least a little sense of adventure and an open mind. Whatever's clever at the time.
