The value version - I like keeping fit, my job means I can be away often and I think I am addicted to coffee, red liquorice and M&S socks. Not all at the same time though, that'd just be weird. The longer version - I'm currently working towards achieving a standard of dancing that doesn't make people think I am having some form of seizure. As you can imagine this has resulted in some rather embarrassing situations when out socialising and left me unable to find that special someone... or just someone. Despite my apparent coffee addiction (I do love coffee) I believe every day should start with a cup of tea. Strong tea, obviously. I love to travel.I find it hard to pin myself to any particular genre of music. Not that music isn't important to me but I find that often I listen to and enjoy a wide variety. The same can be said of films. Fitness and sports play quite a big part in my life. I love running and I put a lot of time and effort into this. Sports wise, I'll have a crack at anything although I find that I'm what people may call a trier. God loves a trier, right?I have a serious dislike of mushrooms.I have been told I look like one of D1ck and Dom - I have yet to work out whether or not this is a good thing. It certainly has never got me nothing for free nor asked for any autographs. My claim to fame -

I'm pretty new to this kind of thing but here it goes!I'm Neil, I work in IT so I pretty much just restart PCs all day. It's a pretty laid back job which I enjoy, but I don't take too seriously; I normally spend the day coming up with ways of amusing myself, but no one's grumbled so far so I must be doing something right!Outside of work I enjoy music, the occasional gig, film, the general hanging out with friends thing. I probably sit somewhere between slightly lazy and vaguely cultured :). Music wise, I have a pretty broad taste in music, but it's mainly indie.- Music is a big thing for me so someone that shares a similar or broad taste in music would be really interesting to meet and bounce ideas off of.So while I do catch up with friends often I'd like to meet new people. I'm normally a little quiet initially (I am terrible at introducing myself to a group), but once I get to know someone I open up pretty quickly. I think my friends would describe me as honest, funny (dry, sarcastic, slightly absurd), and considerate. I try to put others first, or at least empathise with them. which I hope makes me easy to talk to.The kind of person that would appeal to me would have a sharp sense of humour, be intelligent and engaging, have a similar taste in music/film and enjoy a night out finding new places or a quiet weekend in while I try not to burn something in the oven. Someone that I can bounce ideas off of and hear about new places, bands, etc would be awesome. And someone that is happy to tolerate my slightly geekier traits (and my beard) would be great! So while I'm just trying this to put the feelers out. if my ramblings take your eye and you'd like to chat let me know!
