Family is the most important thing to me, and I spend as much time as I can with my very large family. I love to travel and have visited both in and outside the country. I stay busy, I am not the type of person to stay inside the house. In the summer I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, being out in nature, swimming, picnics, outings, festivals, concerts, etc. In the winter I enjoy going to movies, visiting museums, local brewery tours, and bon fires.I love to try new things: experiences, food, places. I also enjoy many types of art including music, painting, drawing, etc. I am a deeply loyal person and expect the same in who I spend time with.I am not on this site to experience random hook ups and you should not message me if that is your intent. Something fun and exciting but still be able to have a conversation. Maybe coffee or a drink.

I enjoy camping, snowboarding, learning (taking classes), catching a show/movie on netflix, or maybe playing a game on the computer. I hope to find a partner that can join me in any of the above.

Currently, I find that most of my week is spent working. I work as a Recruiting Coordinator for an up and coming eCommerce company that markets to women and children, acting as a liason of sorts to ensure their candidates have a positive experience from interviews to onboarding. Though it can be tedious at times, I do find that I enjoy working in HR and could see myself possibly moving forward down this career path. The times I am not working, I am usually spending quality time with my friends, who are all a huge part of my life.I also spend a LOT of time singing - I'm in a couple of choirs (an adult chamber choir and a small a capella group that my friends and I started). My time gets jam packed with concerts, gigs, and the like during the holiday season, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I studied voice privately in high school for several years, participated in All-State choir for all 3 years of high school, and went on to study music some in college - it's still a huge passion of mine. I also play piano (albeit more poorly now than I used to) and I've recently decided that I want to learn the guitar, so I have taken up trying to teach myself! So far, I only know 3 chords and 1 song (with said chords)...I'll get there! Hopefully. :\There's obviously a lot more to me than the above, but it's a start! If you have anymore questions for me - I'm more than likely happy to answer them. :) As for what I'm looking for on here...it'd probably be easier to put it as what I'm NOT looking for. I am not interested in the following: - A "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" type of relationship (and I use the term "relationship" loosely because honestly, it isn't one!***Friends with benefits (I'm too old for that crap, now-a-days***Someone that will tell me whatever I want to hear, just to try and get in my pants - Someone with drama. I get that we all have some baggage we carry along in life, but there's a big difference. - Someone that seems to have an adverse reaction to spelling, grammar, and/or punctuation. I'm guilty of slacking on capitalization now and again and sometimes my punctuation can be a bit lacking when I'm IM'ing (because it's faster, I'll agree), but if you can't seem to find the time to spell out words like "you" and "are" (it's 2 more letters, people!!!) and you don't know when to use "your" vs. "you're" or "no" vs. "know," I'm not going to want to talk to you and most likely will not write you back. If you do write me and still do the above, it just shows me that you didn't take the time to read my profile!Things I AM looking for: - Honesty - Loyalty - Maturity (but still young at heart***Educated (preferably at least some college, but not necessarily a requirement***Some stability in your life (no, I don't expect you to necessarily have EVERYTHING figured out***An interest in music and hopefully you can put up with and/or enjoy some country music - Someone that isn't shallow and can see past the surface and to what really counts (because looks will leave you, honey!***Can be serious when needed/appropriate, but also knows how to have a good time - Someone that will fit in with my friends as though he's known them for years, too - A guy that will treat his woman like the lady she isUltimately, I'm looking for a long-term, long-haul kind of guy, though I understand that this is sometimes an intimidating thing to say up front. I've done the dating around and the short term flings, but I'm at the point in my life where I'm realizing that one of the best parts of life is having someone to live it and share it with. I'm looking for THAT guy...could you be him? ;)I will also say up-front that I am not a Barbie Doll. Since I am overweight (something I want to try and work on), a lot of times, people choose not to look past that and write me off at first sight. I've got a pretty face, but not the body to go with it and it's discouraging. I truly believe that if people would be less superficial and look past that for a minute, they'd really see just how amazing of a person I am. I am a great friend (ask any of mine), a positive person, and most people that really know me are glad they do. I'm something special, I just wish people would notice that about me right away *** missing out. :) Hmm...I find that the standard "meeting for coffee/drinks" can work well, though I agree it's getting a bit worn out. The main thing is that we go somewhere that we don't have to yell to talk to one another, and where we can both feel at ease. I'll be honest, I hate first dates/impressions - there is always way too much pressure to put on a good face and it can be tough to put the best representation of myself forward (at least I feel that way).
