I love to laugh, I would rather be outside(weather permitting) I hate winter cold (unless I have someone special to snuggle with!) I like fishing, shooting guns at targets not animals!! Camping, walk on the beach and sunsets, romantic dates, and surprises (as simple as a note or card) Bonfires, family get togethers! And You must love dogs! (At least like them) Lol!! Looking for someone that enjoys the simple things in life. Going out for a nice dinner & movie is always a good time! Going on a walk through a park, or throw a blanket in the bed of a pickup truck on a clear night just to look at the stars! awesome! I am very honest, loyal and caring person looking for a long term relationship with a man (not a woman) that shares some of the common interests! Looking for a man who takes care of himself - good hygiene...clean, I like Ball cap and Cowboy hats they are cute! I am just a country girl in the city looking for the simple life with that special someone! If you would like to know more about me please just ask!Just ask! Could be as simple as meeting for a drink! Something casual!

Hi!I'm not new to being single, but I'm definately newer to being a single mom! Yes, I've become "one of them" lol. I'm 49, not ***can't correct typo in birthday), I'm normal, funny/whitty, never been married AND have all my front teeth (bonus round! :) I have a daughter who just turned 6, & no I'm not looking for a (& HATE to use this slang word!!!) "babby daddy", as I unfortunately already have a useless one hanging around. I keep it busy & fun, with minimal - no baggage (definately not the norm. for late 40's...) just a small carry-on, securely fastend overhead as things may shift in flight...I'm a dog (animal lover) & have one, a very large one......I enjoy being active, sports, anything outdoors, laughing, having fun and prefer the same.If I were asked to go to a baseball game, monster truck or motorcross show? I'd ask what team I'd be playing on, what truck would I get to drive, or what size bike would I be killing myself on ! :)First date? He has to have one really nice tooth, enjoys ADD in HD (hi def).When/if we meet- the dog & pony show always makes me nervous & I say dumb things when I'm nervous, but you'll get over it, I do....First.date should avoid knitting blankets, a warm glass of milk and asking me what I like to do on the first date. :)

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ MY PROFILE WORDS. PICTURES CANNOT GIVE YOU THE 'WHOLE' ESSENCE OF WHO I AM. I KNOW IT'S LENGTHY, BUT WORTH THE READ AND I DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE. I'M VERY UP FRONT AND HONEST. SO, ANY QUESTIONS, JUST ASK.I'm the 'girl-next-door' type, with an adventurous nature. However, if I had to describe myself with one word...I'd have to say 'Eclectic'. Because I definitely think outside the box and am an 'acquired' taste. lol I've done quite a few interesting things in my life and don't regret any of them. There's a quote I found which says pretty much how I feel about life. "Life is not a journey with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming "Wow! What a ride!" So, yes, I do have a few 'character' lines at my age, and I earned every one of them! lolUpdate: What am I looking for? Affection, warmth, holding hands, hugs, kisses, intellectual conversations, passion, have adventures, compatibility. I don't want to be married, but I do want a love/partner to grow older with. It's so much more fun with someone! lol I used to work for the County Government...8yrs as a police dispatcher, and 20 yrs as the Manager of the Admin Dept at a crisis center. I've retired from work, but not from Life! I want to go, do, see things, but still have some 'quiet' times with AND without my partner. Also, I can compromise on a lot of things, but not on compatibility. I need to feel a sense of ease/be comfortable with my 'date'. That is foremost. Unfortunately, you can't 'feel' that by looking at someone's picture or reading their 'words'. So, I like to meet in person sooner, rather than later. Only then will you know if that 'feeling' is there...by knowing that you are relaxed, feel your 'walls' coming down, and just enjoy talking and being with that person. However, sometimes, it takes more than once, to know the 'inside' of someone, to know if there is any 'physical chemistry' there as well. The first is more important to me. If that's there, then the 2nd will hopefully come, if its meant to be. Too many times, people meet for the first time and may not feel the 'sparks' they were anticipating. So they immediately 'write off' that person. Sometimes you have to see them again to really know for sure. Isn't it worth the 'extra look' ?? I am looking for a boyfriend/partner/lover for a long term, monogamous relationship. I'm a one-man woman and want a one-woman man. I do my best to maintain a healthy diet and stay active, but I'm a constant 'work in progress', lol No one is perfect and I don't look for that. We all have 'little things' we'd like to 'fix', but as long as we do our best to try to say healthy & active, that's all that really counts. I would like my partner to feel the same way. I joined a gym and work out at least 3 times a wk. NOT that i will stop going, but I am hoping that by the end of ***, I will be in even better shape, feeling good about myself, and totally awesome! LOL If I say I will accomplish a 'goal' (& this is one of them!) I WILL!! :) ****So, plz don't 'write me off' just because I may happen to have 10 or 15 lbs to lose, because it will be gone soon, and... I am just SOOOO Awesome inside and out, with or without them! LOLAlso, I saw this following quote on a gentleman's profile and so agreed with it that I wanted to share it. "Here's how I see it: our youthful physique is on the wane (hell, for must of us, it's already waned) and the elements of beauty have ceased to be based on physical qualities. During this Winter of our lives and as we seek our last love, shouldn't we base our search upon less superficial qualities?" ...Well said, don't you think? I have a passion for life and am a positive person who loves to smile and laugh (especially at myself). I'm trustworthy, spontaneous, unpredictable, attractive, intelligent & clever, love freedom, too sensitive & easily hurt, romantic on the inside(would you dance w/me in the rain? Kiss me during a tropical storm?lol), love reality and abstract, a bit rebellious when restricted, and a genuine happy spirit. Because I was a single parent and then the manager of a dept in a crisis center, I am used to being 'in charge/control' of things. Some men would feel threatened by that. Let me say right here, that I would LOVE to share that responsibility now!! I HAD to be that way because of the road my life went. If you are a strong, independent, confident man who is also kind and patient, then you can help me to sit back more now and let someone (you?) share that attribute with me. Like I said, I think maybe I'm an 'acquired taste'...you have to get used to me! THEN you'll either dislike me or love me! lolI'm 100% committed to those I care about and who care about me.I love my jeans, but 'dress up' nice. I have many 'interests' ...check them out on my profile. Most people think I'm in my 50s, because I think, act, and look younger, but I'll let you be the judge, because sometimes I wonder about that when I look too close in the mirror!! lol It would be nice if you liked good old fashion romancing...like holding hands, snuggling, hugs, long, slow kisses, PDAs. I look at a guy's eyes and smile first. They tell me a lot!*GENTLEMEN, PLEASE, if a lady has taken the time and gotten up the nerve to send you a message of interest, be considerate enough to send a response, even if your not interested! I'm sure a lot of you would want us to do the same thing. I think we are all on here looking for the same thing. Besides, it's just common courtesy. Your mom didn't raise you to be rude, I'm sure. So make her proud! lol Thanks!Depends on what you mean by first date! If you mean, First Meeting, then anywhere public is good, for a soda, drink, meal, whatever. However, would prefer maybe just having a cup of tea/coffee/wine on the beach watching the sun come up or going down. Or maybe a picnic, going to a park, walking the OC boardwalk, or just meeting in a quiet place. Since its not a DATE, then going DUTCH is fine by me.First REAL DATE could be anywhere and doing anything we are both happy with. We can decide together. **If you are looking for sex on the first date, move on to the next profile. Relationships are special to me. I am NOT into casual sex and I hope my date will think the same. ****PRIVACY NOTICE:Warning--any person and/or *** this website or any of its associated websites, you do NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained herein including but not limited to my photos.
