I find myself searching for you most everywhere I go.I wonder if I missed you just as the door closes at my favorite restaurant. Have you checked out in a different grocery line just across from me at the supermarket? Are you in the car ahead of me in the line at the bank window? Are you wondering where I am too? Do you feel that I am close, yet you can’t seem to locate me? Does that feeling break your heart as much as it does mine?I was once very hesitant about admitting I am a romantic person. I thought to be a “man’s man” you just don’t show emotions. That was always a struggle for me. I have read it’s a good idea to describe exactly what you are looking for on a dating site and the person who relates to it most closely will reply to you. So today, I am putting it all out there, as it were. Simply put, I am searching for my sweet mate. Every morning she isn’t in my life, I miss waking up to the sound of her breathing softly beside me. I miss the smell of her hair on the pillow. I miss her beautiful, sleepy face as she wakes up, gently rubs her eyes and whispers “Good Morning.” I miss texting her during her day to tell her that no matter how busy my day gets, I am thinking of her. I miss the deep conversations we would have late into the night over dinner and a bottle of wine. I miss her smile. I miss traveling with her. I miss the times when she has gotten herself ready for an evening out, steps out of the bedroom and down the stairs to hear me catch my breath as I notice how beautiful she is. I miss the times when our eyes meet across a crowded room and the physical distance between us vanishes…if only for that moment. I miss knowing she’s there, and she knowing I’m there, as we go through life’s challenges. I miss dreaming with her. I miss walking hand in hand with her…everywhere. I miss the sound of her unbridled laughter. I miss watching her give to others. I miss being so proud of her and her accomplishments. I miss being the man, the husband, I know I would be with her. I miss lifting her up in my words and my actions, whether I am with her or we are apart. I miss loving her, and feeling loved in return. I miss you. Where are you?Hi! I am a respectable 48 year old, professional fellow with no children who is seeking a nice lady around my age to enjoy life with. I was divorced in ***, and although I have met some very nice women since then, I just haven't found someone whom I would consider my perfect match. I'm not interested in being a lifelong "dater". My goal is to meet and, after we have gotten to know one another over time, we would hopefully both feel comfortable with having an exclusive, trusting, devoted relationship. I hope you have the same view as well. I want to meet my soulmate, my laughing partner, my traveling companion, my sexy and intelligent best friend...my wife. *******Life can be so demanding and serious. I want to find someone to LAUGH with until we have tears in our eyes and are embarrassed we snorted in public!******* Do Write Soon...PS: I hate that I have to write this stuff, but my online experience has shown me the need to list these non-negotiable rules:***My age is accurate and my photos were taken within the last year. Yours should be accurate and recent too, please. If you have only one grainy photo and are not willing to share a few more recent photos, we will not be meeting---PERIOD. ***If your happiness depends upon prescription anti-depressants, do not contact me. ***If your posted age is less than your actual age, do not contact me. ***Separated is Married in my book. I'm not interested in meeting a woman who is Separated or Married.***I don't find tattoos particularly appealing. One small one is fine, but if your tattoos are numerous or you have large ones...probably not a good fit.***I do not date anyone who smokes, is a heavy drinker, or uses drugs of any kind.***Please know the difference between "your", "you're" and similar words. ***Finally, I'm not interested in dating outside my race. I believe first dates should be more casual and relaxed. I feel most comfortable having a first date on a quiet patio at a local restaurant. There is a small table with appetizers and drinks. It's a place where we can talk and get to know each other without all the pressures of a stuffy, trendy restaurant. Its kinda fun when we first meet to immediately break the ice with a hug. Ya Know? You can tell a lot about a person by the way they hug ya!
