I am self motivated and can entertain myself quite easily by learning and doing. I am definitely looking for someone on the same plane of thought and action. I remain well grounded in my values and reflect this in my life and work. I am strong in character but see no need to parade about like a peacock. Honesty, integrity & possessing a strong moral compass are important traits I value. I think I have an interesting sense of humor and feel quite at ease in making fun of myself and remind myself to not take everything so seriously. Damn, I blush so easily! I'm educated, love my job, and have found an inner peace with whom I am in this life. I am restless for change in that I hope to find my equal or better to share in whats still to come. I am selfish, but kind, value friendship above all, and have no time for BS. Still, I have many lessons to learn, and am learning the value in patience. I cannot believe how grounded in the past I can be, and yet strive to change and evolve. I enjoy many hobbies, and things involving the outdoors and physical activity top my list. I have done a good job of cycling to work (40min each way) for the better part of the year. We obviously have not met within our respective social circles. I can't seem to find you at the grocers, library, numerous coffee shops, the grouse grind or on the streets or seawall on a bicycle. NOT even in a bar! I thought this may be the best way to be seen by a larger audience. I would think I would know you the moment we meet. Only time will tell, but time doesn't wait... and another year has gone by. It's a good thing I use up all my time nowadays being very busy and constructive. Open to anything where we can walk & talk.

I really hate to talk about myself but here goes.I am a very honest person but try not to hurt anyone's feelings,kinda private.I think a great sense of humor love to laugh.As for music anything but rap I lean toward southern rock and country.I have three kids 23,22,and soon to be 16 year old daughter.Love to pack the bags on the bike and just go for the weekend with no particular place to go. UPDATE: After 28 years with a mustache, I decided today, June 18, ***, to shave it off. Time for a new look, this will take some getting used to. So some of my pics of me with it. Without it are the most recent.I am a sincere, warm hearted, honest, animal loving guy who is a little difficult get to know at first, actually sometimes shy. (opposite than my professional life, as I deal with the public everyday) But once you get to know me and I warm up to you I open right up. I truly put the needs of others before my own, almost to a fault, but I've always been like that and I don't think I'll every change. That doesn't mean I go without, just means that if someone I truly care for needs my help, I'll put what I have to aside to help them. I have many interests, which include cooking (ex-chef), home renovations, dancing, anything vintage, interior design, photography, gardening, skating, travel, cultures, and of course anything my kids do. I always love to learn new things.I like to spend my days off with my family (especially my boys) or friends, going to see new things, small (or long) road trip is always fun. How about antique shops, or auctions. When all else fails, sleep in and relax, watch a movie, simple down time is always good for the soul.I love what I do for a living, although the hours are long and change all the time, therefore making it difficult for normal personal time, but I make it work. I do like to go back as often as I can as most of my friends and family are there. Also have family in France, and love to go there to visit as well when possible.Enough about me, now the question is what am I looking for? Well quite simply, sincere, honest, good hearted, a genuine care for others, don't judge a book by it's cover mentality, ambitious, family oriented, etc. Oh and a sincere smile :) would be nice. I'm kinda partial to that. First date could be almost anything. Whats important is that both of you are relaxed and comfortable. This tends to make conversations flow much easier. My idea would be meet for a drink and talk, any place is fine or go for walk and talk. I'm open to any possibility.
