Hello! Thanks for deciding to take a few minutes to read my profile. I'm not exactly sure where to start off here, so I apologize if I fumble around a bit. So lets talk a little about me outside of what you have seen so far. I am what my friends call a clean cut, straight laced guy. I am very low key and laid back. I am not looking for attention. Rather I am the guy that is very happy to sit on a chair in a room full of people and people watch. People would describe me as the guy that will be quietly in the background, but all of a sudden come out and get everyone laughing. I am very outgoing with very few inhibitions. But I do it a very quiet way. I am also a huge goofball though. There is still very much a kid in me. I laugh a lot and play a lot.But being a great conversationalist, I always find people are drawn to me and great conversations are the result. I love the art and gift of gab. I love to see where conversations go and what I might learn from them. I love to invest time in people. I like to think I have mastered the art of asking questions and listening. I would much rather learn something, than speak what I have learned. I don’t have to do all the talking, but I should do my fair share of listening. People love to talk about what they are passionate about, what’s important to them and they want to be heard. I love to hear what they have to say. My friends will tell you that I am very honest, very kind and very affectionate. I do speak my mind, but with a great deal of tact and grace. I am very drama and baggage free. Having never been married and no children, I come as an empty slate but with a book filled with great stories. So let’s get the big questions out of the way right now… “Why are you single?”. Funny how often I get this question. And perhaps funnier, is the fact that I know the answer! My answer to you is this. I was in love once. Love changes a person. I am sure you know what I mean. Once you feel that, there is nothing like it in the world. And you just won’t settle till you find that feeling again. I just haven’t found it yet. I have had several opportunities to settle, just as you have I am sure. But why do it! Some call me picky. I call it doing the right thing. In looking at my profile on here, I some times think I really don't fit in on this site. Most of my pictures are of me on a horse and wearing a cowboy hat. And most girls in Orange County aren't interested in a cowboy or being seen around with a guy dressed like one. I will put you at ease in knowing that I only dress cowboy when I am with the horses or showing.I believe in the old ways. Do a deal with a handshake and keep to your word. They can count that you will be there when you say you will and count on you to do the right thing. Be a man and be a gentlemen in the same moment.At 44, I have done a lot. Went to college, was a firefighter for a while, and I was a paramedic for a private ambulance company. But for several reasons, I got out. After that, I fell back on my college degree and went into corporate work. Today I find myself as an operations/business analyst. I am an avid snow skier (I do Ski Patrol in the winter) and I used to be a competitive swimmer up until, ***. I swam every day since I was 16. I need to get back into it but my life doesn’t have time right now. And I think lost the passion for it. But work, horses, skiing and sleeping make little time for 3 hours a day in pool. So right now it is work, horses, relax and spend time with friends.As you can tell, I am into horses. I got into horses in ***and I have been dedicated to it ever since. I train and show horses all over the west. This is a hobby and sport that is very time and capital intensive. It is a deep passion. It would be great to find someone that would be interested in it as well. Sometimes it’s for one day and others it’s for a multi-day horse show. So yes…. So I hope you are interested in riding, because I have "Plenty Of Horses" to be ridden.What am I looking for? The best thing I can say is be classy, well spoken, poised and elegant with a touch of grace. It’s about is how you carry yourself and how well spoken you are. I find this very attractive. Be loving, affectionate but not smothering. Be ready and open to passion. Don’t be guarded and protective. Throw yourself out there, be vulnerable!
