I like to try to figure something new out every day. When I was younger this lead me to learn the Japanese alphabet, take Tae Kwon Do, and teach myself to play guitar. I go through phases of getting really interested in one particular thing, learning everything about it, and moving on to the next one. It makes having access to Google on my phone a bit of a gift and a curse.I'm shamelessly self-assured. Life's too short to be bashful. I like to be sarcastic to the point that it takes people a few seconds to realize I'm joking. I also really like wearing suits and am sad that wedding season is winding down as I have less excuses to wear one.I have five roommates. Two of them are dogs.Constantly wanting to learn new things led me to choosing a career that requires 11 years of school/training. I'm a little more than halfway through medical school now and I'm kind of leaning towards becoming a hospitalist - the kind of doctor who takes care of patients who have to stay in the hospital. Nothing's for sure now though as I also love working with kids in pediatrics so we'll see how things go when I graduate. My biggest goal right now is getting into a specialty that will also allow me to take time off to travel and see the world before I have to settle down and be a real adult. Ambitious, I know.I like to balance my life with non-school stuff as much as I can. I like to play frisbee, watch movies, and find new places around town. I play guitar and I'm working on learning piano/actually learning music theory. I sing a lot, mostly in the car because I haven't found a karaoke bar nearby yet. I like getting coffee with people, even though I don't drink coffee. Weird, right?

I am an engineer for a local company.
