I've grown tired of the bar scene or hoping for a chance meeting. I enjoy the outdoors, but I don't live for them. In other words, I can be contempt staying in for a quiet night in front of the t.v., as long as I'm with someone who makes me feel good inside. I'm nowhere near perfect, and will be the first to admit I've made my share of mistakes. I have come through my share of long cold winters alone, and I am ready to find someone who warms my heart, and is warmed by my caring nature. I don't drive a big fancy car, and I don't have a big fat bank account, but I'm not interested in anyone who is interested in materialistic existence. I am merely hoping to find someone to share a few laughs with, and willing to take a chance with me to find what happens next. I find it best not to place expectations on anything, especially a first date. Starting slowly, I think, is best. Perhaps meet for dinner and a few drinks while we talk and get to know one another. More than likely, by the time dinner is through, we will know if we are compatible enough to take it any further than that.

I am an explorer at heart and love trying new things ('specially food). So no surprise that my idea of a great Saturday is getting in the car, going on a road trip, letting you DJ until we discovered a great new hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant. This may involve packing toothbrushes and swim suits 'cause you never know where we will end up. Also remember your adventure socks. In fact, never forget those.I am a great cook. Planning and cooking a meal together over a few drinks and conversation is my idea of a great time.My partner should be able to hold a conversation and have plenty of confidence (sexy). A love of music and a willingness to try new things will go a long way. Speaking of trying new things: I can't eat most seafood, but am not deathly allergic so I will try anything once. I want to love it.My sense of humor is amazing and I have old school manners. Girls are awesome and I treat you accordingly.Recently I took my mountain bike off the hook in the garage, got it tuned up and have been riding. Would love to go on some trails and find new stuff (explorer, right? first sentence!). Having been on a few first dates, I've decided simple works. Drinks, coffee. Something simple. If this are going well, it turns into dinner.Second dates are where we can have fun! Go see a concert, museum, art exhibit? All of the above?
