I am somewhat quiet and shy at first but once I get to know someone I open up and enjoy a nice time. I just recently became a grandma for the second time and am loving it more than words can say. I had no idea what I was missing before they were born. I enjoy the peacefulness of the river and taking drives. I also enjoy a nice night at home cuddling in front of a fire with a movie popped in is nice or even just sitting and have good conversation with someone special. I guess one would say that I'm a true romantic at heart and enjoy the simple things in life. Being alone the rest of my life is not what I want to do so am hoping there is someone out there not wanting to either and feels that what is inside is what counts more than what's outside. I say that due to being heavier set and having knee issues from arthritis. But that doesn't change who I am inside. I have a lot to offer the right person if they are wanting to accept me for the person I am. Am told i'm a very passionate person.As far as music goes, my favorite is country but tend to listen to most anything except the hard rock an roll or whatever they call it these days. I find it very soothing and relaxing to sit and listen to someone play the guitar, especially around a fire whether it be indoors or outdoors. I have a great passion for animals as I was born and raised on the farm. I have two little dogs currently and they are my babies. Being a farmgirl I've never been without some sort of pet in my life. It's just part of who I am. I hope that anyone wishing to find a friend/companion in their life will read my profile and know that I am not into headgames and serious in my search for a genuine person. I also want to say that I do walk with a cane and walker cause of my bad knees so if that would be an issue for you then I wouldn't be the person for you. I just like to be up front an honest about myself so it's not a shock to anyone.
