Update: I have a LOT going on right now. Studying for midterms, a recent death in the family earlier this month, (October), has put a lot more stress in my life recently. It takes me awhile to process things, and I did not deal with my grief right away. Things are stressful at the moment, and I am really busy. I am normally an easygoing person, but things are weird right now. It may take awhile for me to get back to you, as I am not really in a great emotional space right now. Just being honest : )I am a very enthusiastic person. When I like someone, I get really optimistic, and excited about things. This does not mean I want to rush into some big commitment, because I don't. Being a person of character is important.I really like people who are outside of the box, and not afraid to be who they are. I dislike pretense, and meanness. I find I am attracted to intelligent, dorky types. I think the most important quality a person can have is good communication skills, so I am working on mine. Nobody's perfect, but I think it is important to have long term goals, and take steps to improve. I understand that few will have what I am looking for, but I am confident that you are out there reading this. I desire something very real, very simple, and light-hearted.I get nervous around quiet people.I also enjoy playing board games. Beware!!! I won't let you win just to get on your good side- seriously I will most likely win, so please be enough of a man to lose gracefully : ) Let's go out, and do something fun, but not too loud- I want to get to know you. My life is not too far off from a fairy tale. I am surrounded by friends and family who love and support me whatever I do in life. My parents have been married for 35 years, and I have never once seen them actually fight or disrespect eachother. I think its jaded me on relationships, because I expect so much. But I know that with hard work, love and respect a relationship can be long lasting and meaningful. Im looking for somene with similar morals and ideals to build a life with. And that's what brings me here...Don't let the smile fool you. I can be the nicest or meanest woman you've ever met. It all depends on how you treat me. I'd rather be in a seedy bar with good company then a club dancing any day of the week. I enjoy all sorts of art and crafting, like drawing, jewelry making/ silversmithing, and just being creative. I'm shy and outspoken all at the same time. I'm strong willed and stubborn, but aware of it enough to know when to back down. I can be pretty shy and slow moving when I first meet people and unfortunately I think some people may take it the wrong way. My family, friends and puppies mean the world to me. I'm here because ulitmately I would like to fall in love, get married, own a home and have children. The American dream right? I'd like that, or at least some form of it that fits me. That being said, I'm not looking to run out and fall in love with the next man that pays me some attention. I know my worth and I know what I deserve from a partner. Any good woman does ;) Also, I love to hang out in dive bars and just weird obscure places where my friends and I have a good time. Turns out they're not such good places to meet men. Not that the internet appears to be much better...haha. I have a fairly good idea of what qualities Im looking for in a man:* *Someone who is financially responsible. Doesnt mean you need to have a lot of money, just be responsible about what you do have.*Someone with a job, or at least a legitimate plan for life.
